These Men deserve everything thats coming to them, all the Royalties from Memorabilia, Interviews, Video & Public appearance because they risked there lives & are extremely fortunate to be still alive, ALOT could have & did go wrong for Instance Apollo 13 being the most well known but there were so many more.
When you think anything Is hard or Impossible just think of the 24 Men who flew a quarter of a million miles through the blackness of space to the Moon, where 12 actually walked.
Thanks so much for inspiring Americans and humans across the globe, Gene. I hope you live long enough and healthy enough to see us back on the moon for sure!
I wish Gene a long life and good health to see the new Moon landings and the Mard landing. What pleasure to see and listen this moon hero and historical figure. Thanks so much for the interview!!!
I'm noit sure you can refer to Gene as ab "old bird"! Give him a few months of refresher training, and he;d be able to pilot the shuttle or go back to the Moon. That's why John Young only retired from ther Astronaut Corps a year and a half ago.
I didnt say OLD, i said Ole, as a sign of honorific. These guys are legends, and theres no disputing that. and they dont get old, they get better. Age like a fine wine. I think you missinterpreted me.
Sorry LBC, I was actually talking to the great unwashed, not you, who had the honour and admiration to put this vid up. I actually agree with everything you say, including the respect you send Gene. I've met Storey Musgrave and Ken Bowersox, and have nothing but worshipful respect for these guys. Great vintages, to be sure! Respect!
It's time people went back up there, so Cernan can relinquish the title of "last man on the moon" to someone else.
