as for the charity side of this, I would say they actually HAVE to give to charity or else people would kick up about it. that money is nothing compared to what they make. In all honesty I will not respect them just for doing something they should be doing anyway.

I give a lot to charities, I also spend most of the year doing conservation work in south america and I do not expect any form of respect. they have a lot more than i ever could so I would expect them to be giving a larger amount but that does not mean they should get respect for doing so.

I give a lot to charities, I also spend most of the year doing conservation work in south america and I do not expect any form of respect. they have a lot more than i ever could so I would expect them to be giving a larger amount but that does not mean they should get respect for doing so.

For example just because a gray hound is born America and another in China doesn't make them different. I do not begrudge religious people their beliefs, HOWEVER, so long as you and all other religious people have no solid proof to back up said beliefs, then you have to realise that they are not fact. And as such you have to treat it as such.
If you believe that atheists will burn in hell, fine. But you can't say that for certain until you have proof to back it up. Which you have none. So until then, keep it to yourselves.
