  • I knew after the yellow monkeys comment they'd have to throw in some kind of inaccurate PC twist. I mean of the many things you CAN criticize about America, why make shit like that up? Yes the marines hated the Japanese, but it wasn't this joking bullshit they show here. It was a serious hatred, with pretty fucking reasonable roots.

  • @polske322 same with indians killing americans.

  • A small minority of certain country do horrible, horrible things, and that small 1% should not be your view of the country.

  • The Japanese soldier is screaming: "Long live the emperor!". It should be added.

  • hey, what'd you do that for?

  • @SlyDessertFox

Well , there wasnt much freedom in the Great Britain or in the USA either , you could express your opinion quietly but you still had to do what your government told you .

I would choose a Nationalist Socialist dictatorship over Corporate dictatorship any day.

And youre wrong , the press was censored in both the United states and Great Britain.

The thing i have always admired about Nazi Germany is how they succsessfully unified a nationality under one flag.

  • @bantheidiotsplz so much for the comparison. Since the U.S/UK did not provide perfect freedom, they are on par with the Japanese Empire? LOL

  • @bantheidiotsplz

if murdering everybody who does not agree is successfully unifieing then you might be right. And admiring nazi germany is something you need to see a doctor for.

  • shit l need to watch this movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, neither am I! I'm fully aware of the fact that they were indoctrinanted, DO NOT patronise me! They were beaten by thier officers, so that they would be PREPARED to fight to the death for thier country and the Emperor, Suicide, i think, is an honourable way to die in thier circumstances. It takes bravery and courage! Americans actually respected the Japanese for thier tenacity and fanatacism, like the SS were so loyal to Hitler, and they were the best soldiers of the war!

  • Tennōheika banzai!

  • chinese will have fun of american very soon

  • i would kill him 2 but not shooting in his arms/hibs/legs

  • There is only HONOR in men! Not in combat.

200 Marines killed over 2000 Japs if memory serves me, on this one river incident.

And while the 1911 CAN hit someone at 200 yards, the number of people who can do it are rare indeed.

  • @GruntOldCorps - I can do it.

  • @johnnytastetest write me a letter after you did it

  • CAN ANYONE TRANSLATE WHAT THE JAP SAID at the end

  • @JeRseybOy251 long live empire.

  • Get educated about what the Japanese did in Nanking and see if you would still feel sorry for that slope asshole.

  • i think the movie director is trying to show something that war is insane no matter what even the enemy combatants are humans too

  • "Where's your tojo now?!"

    I lol'd.

  • Sorry, I lol'd a little bit.

  • what did you do that fore

  • no mercy hahahaha!!! i love this vidio

  • If you haven't noticed most soldiers are the same. Doing their duty as they see it for their country. It's easy for people to direct their hatred to the soldiers of their enemy, such logic is simple and ignorant. It is the leaders of a country not their soldiers that are the cause of most problems. Most people don't see the distinction and go after the easy target, the soldier, beacause they lack the courage and integrity to attack the source of the problem.

  • kano tae patay!

  • While the Japanese did horrible things, there's nothing to go on that THIS particular soldier did anything 'bad'.

  • Americans......*sigh even now they still do that.

  • The Reason I say no quater given is because the Americans ended up mutilating Japanese war dead, I'm aware they took some prisoners

  • IF you're wonderig what the Japanese suicide bomber said it was: Tennoheika Banzai which means Long Live the Emperor for 10 thousand years.

  • Japanese are low scumbags, not part of the human race. These barbarians deserve no pity. The only way to fight them, is atrocity for atrocity.

  • @alphamax03 fuck you

i'm american, and i support the army and everything, hell i wanna join 'em some day

but haven't you ever heard of some of the fucked up shit the american army has done

and the japanese actually fought according to the rules of war in ww2, you wanna see scumbags, look at the viet kong and what they did

the only reason the japanese attacked us in ww2 cuz we treated them like shit after they helped up in ww1 and cut their oil

so think of what you say before you say it

  • @ArmlessOctopus19 the Vietcong we outclassed by the americans, they were outgunned, had little air support if any, fighting dirty and atrocious was their only option, not too mention all the civilians raped, killed, bombed in continuous carpet bombing raids, and lets not forget all that agent orange the americans so graciously dumped on them, in war of any sort neither side is civil or humane, both sides have scumbags, and both sides have honorable soldiers.

  • @ArmlessOctopus19

i'm not sure using civilians and POWs as human experiments was part of the rules...

  • @ArmlessOctopus19 I dont think the rape of Nanking could be considered as "fighting by the rules". Dont get me wrong though, I agree alphamax03 is an asshole.

  • lol, FUCKING YELLOW MONKEYS !!!

  • dont worry the americans will be doing the same thing in iraq to unarmed iraqi people.....it happened , its a fact...

  • If I were to pick whether to be that Japanese soldier or those Marines, I would've picked honor over disgrace and be the Japanese soldier who looked death right in the eye and said, "Kill me now."

  • i just felt me ma's best mates bum! and she gave me a wink ;)

  • Vietnam is the reason why a lot of people are still PISSED at America...God that was one REALLY REALLY fucked up war...

  • this is one of many exampels that shows that the us, soviet union and japan where worse or just as bad as germany...

  • Sorry for the spelling

  • Kinda of feel bad for the gap guy but they have to be killed in war rather prisoner.

  • @Zapp469 Are you surprised they didn't take him prisoner considering the beginning of the clip.

  • That japanese soldier was killed by the american soldier out of mercy, not hatred. The other soldiers were tormenting him and making his death painful. The other soldier decided to put him out of his misery.

  • @TheBroDude777 since when are Marines called "soldiers"?

  • I still respect them, though they apparently hated the Chinese. The fact is is that many Armies have massacred people throughout history, and yet we respect them, take the Mongols for example. Also, I disagree with what you said, if not heroic, then it was at least bloody brave of them to kill themselves knowing that they would take a number of American lives in the process, think of the Kamikazes, they inflicted heavy losses on the US fleet in October of '45, and they must've been terrified.

  • I have that movie. I'm going to get the 2nd one.

  • haha

  • This show had such promise and it just didn't live up to Band of Brothers

  • Whats with the beginning?

  • Japanese Soldier: Forgive me Emperor, I have failed you. That's what he said.

  • ja real heros! more like a bunch of faggots!

  • bamboo rats

  • death before dishonor..

  • the size of the dislike bar is justin biebear dick oh wait he doesnt have one lol

  • yellow monkeys? wtf fucking americian hamburger lovers

  • @MrLululemon101 this is a movie it is trying to display the mentality the marines had toward the japanese

  • The fight to the death thing is an awesome ideal. Die in order to kill is not. Die in order to save is great, but suicide for whatever reason is not.

  • Here's an idea, instead of criticising Japanese Banzai charges, how about respecting it instead! Ask yourself, if you were in a situation where you're probably outnumbered & outgunned in the pacific, where there was no quarter given, what would you do?!

I would probably fight to the death, if my home was at risk of being bombed, or my family at risk of Rape or death. Just show a little respect to the Japanese ideals.

  • @TheKangaroo44 NO FUCK you did u kno they worked along with the nazis??? did u kno they got to the united states by landing in alaska and my great uncle died by those son of a bitches in Alaska???? did u kno they banzai charged him and stabbed him in the head and stomache??? did u kno he was only 18 years old??? so shut the fuck up u dumb retarded dumbass and think before u post asshole no respect for them they were branwashed un civilized animals i wouldve fucking done the same

  • @ofp555 it is a war, shit happens man. people are gonna die.

  • @ofp555 I am sorry for your loss, however I'm not a retarded dumbass, and I know a hell of a lot about the second world war, I've been to Hiroshima, and through that trip I've understood that bombing it in '45 was a terrible & unspeakable act. However I still stand by my previous statement, fighting to the death is honourable I think, surrender is not an option. If you don't like that, then too fucking bad!

  • @TheKangaroo44 I would probably show respect to the Japanese, had they not done what they did in China, the Phillipines and Malaysia/Singapore.

If they were so "honourable" they wouldn't have tortured, murdered and raped innocent women and children + elderly in Nanking, where they killed 300,000 civilians.

They were pre-programmed to die for their emperor, there's nothing 'heroic' in that. Do you know how easy it is to turn a human being into a robot? the Nazis did it very successfully.

  • @OldSirDuke I'm not saying your wrong or anything but what is the diffrience in dieing for the emperor or dieing for the presadent? just saying. at the end of the day the japs where soldiers and thay folowed orders like any american slodier would.

  • @Scully747 Because the Americans (for the most part) didn't take it upon themselves to brutalize prisoners in the manner with which the Japanese did. They did it to civilians (which is as far as I'm aware not by the same standards of the US military in the Pacific during WW2) the Americans became brutal in the form of reprisals and taking of Japanese skulls became common. But the US military at the time outlawed it. Whereas the Imperial Japanese had a wall of silence over such actions.

  • @Scully747 The Japanese soldiers were treated like shit by their superiors. Part of their training included getting beaten. If you ever fell back to another position you would be killed on the spot.

  • @OldSirDuke nanking is done by chinese communist forces not japanese

  • @SniperSurkov That is such bullshit, it was the japanese, there is photographic and video footage of it.

  • @SniperSurkov *sigh*

No, Nanking was done by the Imperial Japanese army. As evidenced by Europeans present who set up a security buffer zone for civilians such as German businessman John Rabe. There is so much evidence to show what the Japanese did...it's so pathetic they try to send out these 'agents' to deny their war crimes.

  • @SniperSurkov Can you spell "clueless"? Because I wouldn't be surprised if it's your middle name.

  • @OldSirDuke Actually dude, i thank you for opening my eyes to the japanese. All this time i felt "bad" for them when i see something like this, but you make a very excellant point. Next time i see something like this i will remeber what you just said :)

  • The point of this scene is to maintain perspective balance. Remember that you can not condemn a whole country based on its people's actions. The performance and actions the IJA did in Nanking was absolutely disgusting and horrific, but that doesn't mean that ALL Japanese are bad. This is not meant to be patronizing, but generally there is a lot of hate in these Youtube comments. Just remember, people are people, regardless of country. Read up Chiune Sugihara, as well as John Rabe.

  • @OldSirDuke almost every military does that, the US also (Vietnam), however your correct the Japanese and the Nazis took it to the extreme, with indoctrination, the war crimes they participated in were heinous, but you have to remember the code of honor the Japanese followed was way different then what we beleive, duty to your country and your Leader was perhaps fanatical but to them it was better to die then surrender and give up your honor, however I do not condone their actions

  • @OldSirDuke most "nazi soliders" we fighting as they thought it was the countrys war not a Nazi war

  • @OldSirDuke Then basically what your saying is the Japanese and the Germans are weak minded and very easy to manipulate. Japs and Nazis died for their sins and Allied troops died for our freedom.

  • @OldSirDuke Also it's not easy to convert someone like think about it if President Obama came to me and told me to kill someones kid would I do it..... hell no!!!

  • @OldSirDuke There is no honor in war does not matter what the reason is.Japanese were cruel against civilians but that does not mean USA soldiers were heroes and saviors of their country. It was the Japanese who tried to defend their country against America after Guadalcanal, they never intended to invade USA.They invaded because Europe and Usa stopped trading resources with Japanese and the reason for that is they feared that Japanese would take their asian toy countries from them.

  • @OldSirDuke You think you are very clecer, American... i tell you, what is not honourable: shooting on unarmed soldiers and laughing meantime. Greets from Germany

  • @the101stRANGER Totally agree at least its just a movie... Why laugh?! He's trying to surrender and he's unarmed

  • @OldSirDuke Yup, not much different from americans burning villages and raping women in Vietnam and killing civilians, or the mass slaughter of Native American tribes killing ALL of the women and children.

  • @SBEbenelli2 The Spaniards committed more genocides than the English settlers.

  • @SBEbenelli2 Lets all agree war can bring out the worst in "PEOPLE" and stop pretending that origin of birth means anything, the word racist itself should not be used because we are one race and different birthplaces dont make you a different race...

  • @kasravojdani1 i completely agree with you, war filters out our true human nature.

  • @kasravojdani1

    thank you. i agree 100%

i can't stand trolls who come on these videos and talk shit about america all day long and TOTALLY ignore all those other countries like the Soviets when they marched into East Berlin or the Romans when conquering the Barbarians or the vikings when plundering a village or the germans when they took over Poland and France or the Taliban when they beat women and young girls and forbade film in the 90's or the british when colonizing Africa.

  • @johnson1095 No ones talking shit about america, It just shouldnt be excluded.

  • @johnson1095

I agree. I find it funny that the US receive so much slander, but when you compare their "atrocities" to the British, the US are small timers. Then you also have unseen crimes against humanity done post-war. For example, the use of a plow to behead a person.

  • @SBEbenelli2 My favorite!

  • @SBEbenelli2 Oh, were you in Vietnam? We're you alive in the 1700 or 1800s? Oh? No? Then shut the fuck up.

  • Comment removed

  • @SBEbenelli2 Oh? And you did invent English? Cool.

  • @N30NGamingVideos No, i didn't invent English, It just shows the ignorance of your stupid fucking comment and moot the point is.

  • @SBEbenelli2 ...Are you retarded? You do realize you completely contradicted yourself...right?

  • @N30NGamingVideos how so?

  • @SBEbenelli2 u must be an american hater buddy considering THAT the JAPANESE did worse... the GERMANS did worse... the RUSSIANS did worse... the CHINESE did worse... the NORTH VIETNAMESE did worse... there is no hiding that america did do bad stuff in the past but you cant just point out ONE countries mistakes, dip-shit retard

  • @BlueBig22 hey fucktard with big titties north vietnamese did not do worse than japanese they didnt even cause a world war ya little 5 yr old suck a dick homo hope youll enjoy a hairy one to and chinese? think you know everything bitch you must be a faggot that talks about world war 2 everyday in ur class

  • @tankbothack a piece of shit fuck tard of a son of a bitch ass living piece of shit of a human being... READ THE FUCKING PAST POSTS ass whole piece of shit who thinks he is cool... I bet the only history you know is from fucking CALL OF DOOKIE... lol piece of shit troll should go fuck off and learn some thing useful in life....

PS: IM NOT FUCKING COMPARING which country is worse than the other DIP-SHIT im just saying that every country does something bad

    PILE OF DOG SHIT CUNT

  • @tankbothack Now THANKS for wasting my fucking time! piece of shit of an ungrateful bastard.... FUCK OFF and believe me i would GLADLY give up your life for even a second of my wasted time on this SHIT... fuck off buddy

    Thanks...

  • @SBEbenelli2 Not to mention that THE BRITISH DIDN'T SHOW any mercy to the AFRICANS??? or the INDIANS??? or what about the TALIBAN today??? thats right cunt go suck on them apples... bitch

  • @BlueBig22 The British were the americans back then, and i was not just pointing out America. I am just saying that OldDukes comment was fairly hypocritical, and judging by your pointless amount of profanity you must be frustrated that you fall short in the groin region, or are a perfect example of why todays education system sucks. Suck on them apples you giant smelly FUP

  • @SBEbenelli2 lol easier to talk behind the computer than to say it to my face... Anyway I use profanity to get the point across and to evoke emotion from the other person, which since we are having this chat now i believe it worked

PS: if you saw my conversation with tankbothack dont mind that since he is just a troll and trolls on many other videos

  • @BlueBig22 you use profanity because it is your only way to get the point across, and it being easier to talk behind your computer goes both ways.

  • @OldSirDuke All armys/countrys commit warcrimes! its just down to the winning side too decide what is an acceptable warcrime. Every side in ww2 commited many many warcrimes. And yet only the nazi/jap were punished for theres. Ill only mention one, the 2 bombs droped on japan killing 200000 Japanese people—mostly civilians. nanking and Hiroshima/Nagasaki were both warcrimes both targeted civilians

  • @mcardle1 And then we have what happened in Nanking, a six week period of Imperial troops rampaging through the former capital city of the Republic of China, committing rape, murder and arson. Which one is the war crime and which one is an unfortunate side effect of a brutal, globe spanning war?

  • @WolfLord5 geneva convention says both

  • @WolfLord5 u cant just say oh well we killed 300000 civilians(on just these 2 acts) but we won the war so its ok. my point is, war is horrible and iam glad its illegal under international law"well its supposed to be" but war crimes are only decided on who looses the war

  • @mcardle1 Hiroshima and Nagasaki were industrial targets first of all. The Japanese had their civilian areas heavily mixed in with their industrial areas. Second, would you rather have millions upon millions of Japanese civilians die in an invasion (because they would have fought back) and on top of that millions of allied soldiers die as well? Tell me, which seems more reasonable: Having 200,000 people die in the dropping of a bomb that will end a war fo r sure (continueonnext message

  • @mcardle1 or have millions upon millions die in an invasion that is not guaranteed to be successful?

  • @OldSirDuke Thank you!

  • @OldSirDuke Everyone in the war was programmed like a robot exept the allies according to you.

    Hypocrisy at its finest.

  • @bantheidiotsplz The allies didnt have evil dictatorships that forced you to do whatever they wanted you to do. People in Britain and in America were allowed to speak their minds. The press was not censored like it was in Japan and Nazi Germany. Hell the communist and nazi party were at their strongest during pre-Pearl Harbour America. The Japanese soldiers were treated like prisoners. All they were were easily renewable material to the Japanese officers.

  • @TheKangaroo44 No quarter given? More like no quarter taken. The americans would have taken them prisoner if they didn't always kill themselves.

  • @TheKangaroo44 I would surrender because I am not an idiot. You know why they didnt surrender? it was because they were brainwashed into believing that the Americans would do to them what they did to American prisoners, which was work them to death or behead them. They were treated like shit by their officers and were repeatedly beaten by them. If they even fell back to a better position, they were killed on the spot. Does that sound honorable to you?

  • You should read "Unbreakable" by Laura Hillenbrand.

  • Anyone else notice; that's a pretty good shot with a pistol given the range. It wasn't amazing but pretty skillful, he hit him right in the boiler room and dropped him with one shot.

  • @AColonDashSix

Totally agree. Very well aimed shot.

  • @AColonDashSix what's the boiler room? and where is it located?

  • @AColonDashSix The Colt .45 can hit someone from 200+ yards away.

  • Seeing as they just blew the fuck out of two of their friends, it makes sense they would make it a painful death for that last guy.

  • its amazing how people can be brainwashed that much into not surrendering and just dieing

  • @rdj90 they aren't brainwashed.. it's a different set of ideals and beliefs. they truly believe that if victory cannot be achieved then the only honorable thing to do is die in battle. It's a cultural difference and I know it's hard to wrap your head around, but it's something the Japanese have displayed for centuries (not just this war). Look at their antiquicated Samurai warriors and the seppuku suicide. This was nothing new.

  • that was sad, I must watch this movie at once!

  • @BlakMastachief its a show on hbo/ well used to be

  • Fuckin yellow monkeys D:<

  • @20elephantman We gotta get dem dam dair yeller monkeys =D Wow I feel like a redneck now.

  • the japanese was a true warrior!

  • こういう戦争があった。それさえ忘れなければいいんだ。

  • @RKSudo I'm replying to this comment so its on top, I was wondering this myself

  • pearl harbor was the reason,

  • War is no place for sick games.

  • Interesting scene, you get two feelings. One of hate and anger, and then one of sympathy.

  • War, war never changes...except for today. Now we CANT just shoot at the first sign of the enemy, we have to be "authorized" first. Fucking politician PIGS. They got a lot of our Marines killed in Fallujah and Baghdad because of those shitty rules of engagement!

  • @B1gO

Yeah those called shitty ruled of engagement saves a hundreds of civilian lives everyday. dickwad

  • @RouserTheRebel

Really? What if we had fought World War 2 like we fight wars today while the enemy waged total war? We would have lost the war before the first year had even come to a close. You know nothing of war, so shut your ignorant trap. There will always be civilian casualties in war, and the enemy doesnt play by your little "rules of war".

  • @B1gO agreed. the civilian casuaties in WW2 were huge to combat ones. it was prob a 1 to 5 ratio. its nothing new. carpet bombing of cities does that. and dont blame the allies for that. hitler started it accidently when heinkles bombed london by mistake. the Uk retaliated. then the Bliz hapened. then the carpet bombing of europe happened. remeber more civialians died in WW2 than in the 10 years in iraq and Aphganistan. think of the number of soviets in Staingrad alone.

  • @B1gO Right, because civilians aren't people and aren't worth saving if they aren't americans. I understand where you're coming from, especially considering the nature of the iraq war, and I'm sure they've been taken to absurd lengths that weren't necessary, but the idea is to prevent our soldiers from stooping to the same level as the barbarians they're fighting.

  • I doubt a pistol would be that accurate over what seems to be quite a distance?

  • @saxcoburg Trust me pistols are underated. A .45ACP M1911 could easily kill someone at that distance.

  • @saxcoburg how the fuck do you know? have you ever shot one?

  • Every war movie on this website has overly patriotic ignorant shit spew all over the comment section. This whole war on both fronts was a shit-hole and there were war crimes to speak of on all sides, most notably those of the Japanese and Germans, but that is the dangers of totalitarian regimes set upon by an ideal. Cut the use of "Nazi, chinks and japs" from your vocabulary when referring to describe these people, especially modern day. You make yourself and other Americans sound dumb.

  • @hubomba It doesn't do any good to try and make a contest out of who did the worst or point fingers or to say who was the most righteous, it all fucking sucked, to brag about it or haughtily justifying measures taken is a disgrace to everyone who was forced to go through it. Also blanketing ever German or Japanese as a war criminal is doing a huge disservice to the vast amounts of people that had to suffer the affects of a totalitarian regime from within their own nation.

  • @hubomba It is rather tiresome, used to be you could hide the comments section on youtube vids and you wouldn't have to deal with "ignorant shit spew"(classic line there by the way), but the good people at youtube decided to do away with that feature.

Fucking wankers, if you ask me.

  • @hubomba I repspect what you said and I agree with you. When you are talking about Warcrimes The Japanese And the Russian share first place on the podium when it comes to warcrimes. These two countries didn´t respect Geneva Convention ( Rules of engagement and POW etc) because the Russians were the victors of war, their warcrimes didn´t make their direct way to the history books. Germans on the other hand respected the treaty up to a certain point, as for them they were losers of war.

  • @hubomba When referring to Nazi's, Nazi is the actual term. That's what they were called.

  • @edawg792 Yes, when refferring to ACTUAL Nazis, but when referring to Germans of today and an average German WWII soldiers or the average German WWII citizen (outside the SS of course) simply fighting in the Wehrmacht, it is not right to assume they are Nazis, because alot of them simply weren't, especially those conscripted from conquered countries.

  • @hubomba umm, "Nazi" is not a derogatory term; it refers to a member of the Fascist regime of the Third Reich. It should be used.

  • @TheRedRussianCossack Not in reference to people who did not actually align themselves with said regime.

  • @hubomba what is a "war crime"? Surely all war is a crime?

  • poor jap

  • he killed him out of mercy not hatred

  • americans- leave Guam, Saipan and Okinawa now!

  • That was fucking sad

  • @XiaoDanDragon There were no RPGs in WWII.

  • He did the right thing. Just end his pain. Why sustain his misery. Just put him out of it. He already surrendered and is saying just kill me.

  • Very muture >:-(

  • That's what that yellow monkey gets hahahaha! If I were the marine I'd use a RPG, where's your Tojo now monkey!? HHahahahahahaHA!

  • @XiaoDanDragon by yellow he means asian , not just japanese retard

  • @XiaoDanDragon I'm just gonna take a wild guess...You play Call of Duty, don't you?

  • @N30NGamingVideos

    shit grenade to the balls

  • @XiaoDanDragon Idiot...

  • That just un-American
