hey do you mind telling me what antibiotics you were on and whether you know for definate it was the antibiotics that caused your acne to get worse? ive been on oxytetracycline for a month and the doctor has gave me more to last another two month and im worried it will get worser when i stop taking them :S
I was on oxytetracycline for 6 months (went back to doctors every 2 months) and I had moderate to major acne (though not as bad as this guys).
I saw a difference after like 3 months and then when I finished, some spots came back but it was nowhere near as noticeable as before and I've been off them for about 4 months now and I get the odd spot but then again, so does everyone.

I dont know if u still have severe acne, i had a similar case a little less serious the only safe way to get rid of it is to change your diet..dont eat complex carbs, junk food, meats,,stay to raw and steamed foods u should see a decrease in acne in weeks.

hey do you mind telling me what antibiotics you were on and whether you know for definate it was the antibiotics that caused your acne to get worse? ive been on oxytetracycline for a month and the doctor has gave me more to last another two month and im worried it will get worser when i stop taking them :S

Hi
I was on oxytetracycline for 6 months (went back to doctors every 2 months) and I had moderate to major acne (though not as bad as this guys).
I saw a difference after like 3 months and then when I finished, some spots came back but it was nowhere near as noticeable as before and I've been off them for about 4 months now and I get the odd spot but then again, so does everyone.
I have acne prone skin and it worked for me.

@ChannelHop Hey thanks for replying! My doctor told me I would see a significant difference around 3 months too. I have started using 'neutrogena visibly clear 2 in 1 wash and mask' and 'garnier pure active spot purifying toner' this week and they have done wonders! I haven't got any more spots since I started using them! :)

I also suffer from really bad acne, not too much but it concentrates more on my cheek and on my chin. Its really bad too since it dries out alot and everywhere there is redness. I can show you a private video if you'd like.

Aw that sucks that you have a really bad case of acne. I had it too ~.~ I got rid of mine from exercising and drinking butt loads of water and eating butt loads of fruit and washing my face twice a day. People aren't always as lucky I was though so kudos, meng. (:
