The underwater casing for the camera is waterproof to 130 feet. I have taken this particular one to 100 feet under. I haven't had any problem operating any previous canon camera/casing combination at 120-140 feet depth.

The 1080P on this camera doesn't hit 30 fps, but that's perfectly fine for the slower motion. If you need 30 fps, 720P provides awesome quality as well. Personally, I'm not concerned about having a CMOS sensor over a larger CCD. I can't tell the different in photo qualities and this CMOS sensor is extremely good with low light condition. (does not apply to videos, unfortunately) 14X zoom is an overkill, since you can't effectively use more than 3-5X zoom underwater without confusing it.

Are you still happy with the camera, not just for the movies but also the pictures? What housing do you use?

That's amazing!!!
A cheaper camera can get a cool video like that, similar to a pro movie.
Good job
