@numan123taj naa it's cool.. whatever works for people though..doesn't matter how the stick is held, as long as it touches the dhol correctly and makes the correct sound.

have u bought it from india by any chance?

urm it really isn't much of a problem once you get to learn the dhol properly. but as u are a beginner, it might confuse u, but that depends on how easily u pick up the notes and beats, as diff material 4 the bass could confuse u at 1st. i would recommend whenever you can get the normal goats skin for ur bass

i hav 1 2 some dhols are originaly like that from india some r customized but it is sopoze 2 be like that so its not a problem

umm, if both sides are the same, i'm guessing it's a dholAK, and both sides are like the base on a dhol. this is usally played with your hands

I don't know exactly how many dho lessons they are.. but there are loadsssss!! lol. i will post as many lessons as i can. i dont know about the trebble for the tribal beats coz its quite sharp.. but the bass of the dhol could do i suppose.. never really tried tho.. so not sure

I am grateful to you for all your Dhol lessons. I am able to play all three Chaals now but having some difficulty holding dagga side after playing first dha. But I guess I just need to practice lil more. I was wondering if you happen to know any Dhol lessons DVD so I could practice other beats. You help will be truly appreciated.
