  • Hope u dont mind, ive put it up on my blog uttanutta on wordpress - a collection of music for, by & about nuttas ...

  • Great combo!

Would work well with the Grace Jones cover version too.

  • This is beautifully done! I'm in love with this!

  • Great film and amazing song but they just don't fit together. It's quite awkward.

  • She is so hot with her red hair, lithe body and amazing strength.

  • This works very well, but I am still astonished by Moira Shearer's dancing!

  • The pointe shoes at the beginning are sooo tiny!! :D

  • OMG, Joy Division goes with everything!!!Watching old woman knit, constrction workers hitting on woman it even makes adolescents puking ther guts out acceptableLoL Don't you believe me. But I do love him/her for doing htis wideo I adore H.C.A fairy tales, I loved this movie ever since I was a teen(and Moira) and God knows I adore Joy Division and this song fits*loveLOVElove*

  • Lisa Simpson's tap-dancing shoes given to her by professor frink that won't stop dancing!

  • This is a great mix! However, the film was made in 1948, not 1940. Good work! I'm forwarding to others, too.

  • PURE SHITE

  • Absolutely amazing makes my soul sing and my feet dance.. Much gratitude xxx

  • You are in my head! Get out of my head! This is genius!

  • ah hahahahahaha ! brilliant !

  • I really like this! Combining this track with the video was quite creative.

  • It is not as good as the original, nothing beats that, sorry chaps! ;- )

  • Qué bien encaja la canción!

  • You can get this mp3 at instantmp3s..com

  • .. WOWOW ...iii had to watch this over and over ..

  • How amazing that these two, equally intense items go so well together! Good job locke325. Interestingly, the effect is a little like Peek-a-boo/1989 period Siouxsie & the Banshees (a very good thing IMHO).

  • this is incredible work. great job!!!! one of my favorite films with one of my favorite tracks.... heaven!

  • OMGosh, so freakin' awesome!

  • This works surprisingly well.

  • The music to this video is raucous. That having been said, if that's what it takes for youngsters to appreciate the ballet, then go for it. The truth be known, a good deal of ballet music is insipid (unlike opera). How about the dance of the Black Swan to "She Works Hard for the Money." I'd LOVE to see fouettes to THAT MUSIC!

  • That's lovely, very well done! I think "She's lost control" fits perfectly with "The Red Shoes."

  • amazing <3<3<3

  • Superbe film qui m'a tellement fait rêver !!!!

Grand merci pour ce souvenir magnifique !

Thank you very much for posting

  • love it.

  • fantastic sharing. I like it.

  • What? This isn't the Ballet. Moira is Legendary. Shame she died.

  • this ballet in the shoe is disturbing and yet a masterpiece...and moira is so talented!

  • Rock n Roll Ballerina~

  • I love this!!!

  • This is pretty impressive. Who ever would have thought Joy Division could be paired with "The Red Shoes" and work so well. Awesome!

  • @FilmJunkieJLH The idea came with the iPod on shuffle and me browsing movies. It just seemed to fit so i spent a weekend working on this...

  • @locke325 Either of you seen Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette?" You would be surprised how well Joy Division goes with 18th century attire!

  • awesome best color of any movie, this and fellini's satrycon

  • Really well done! I didn't think I would like this song with The Red Shoes, but it worked splendidly. Nice job!

  • I love the incorporation of dance into this song. To answer a question by a poster below, "The Red Shoes," as interpreted in this dance is based on a fable by Hans Christian Anderson.

  • haha his hat fell off

    real good dancing :)

  • brilliant combination, well done

  • haha this is so funny. huh ballet with rock music. its awesome! :)

  • This is so fucking amazing!
