Did it feel like a solid? I read somewhere that ferrofluids act like non netwonian fluids, so a rapidly rotating or changing magnetic field could explain what you saw.
I saw another video where a guy used the circuit board from a computer fan to spin a ball bearing at very high rpm, could this be applied here to spin the fluid?
plain tap water in a closed loop toroid spun very quickly will cause a moderate frame dragging effect. The tube will gravity float for a second or so. The trick is to get a fluid to flow without slowing down. Sodium or Mercury seem ideal, but are not reactive to magnetic fields. John Van Kampen and Ed Fouche had suggested that a "superfluid gravity centrifuge" uses a dissolved iron component. A "marconi vortex dynamo" uses similar components.
u need to make a hallow doughnut shape for the liquid. n rap the coils around the doughnut in a star like pattern. use dc curent2, ac current kinda just vibrates back n forth where dc will have to complete the loop. May B that will get ur ferrofluid going.

@woodycada hm i have the details to make ferofluid in my hard drive but if someone can get mercury to spin like in the mercury motor then what if it can be done in the center of a rodin coil at the same time
Is that a DC or AC electric charge going through the wire? Whichever one it is...I woud be curious to see what the fluid does if you were to run the opposite through it.
@woodycada Really....I might have to check that out....Im kinda into some simular projects...I might send ya a FR and subscribe....maybe I will send ya a message here sometime soon to chat 'bout this stufff. Thanks for the suggestion, I will look at that page, and the downloadable books!
Hey , i dont know if the thing surrounding the ferro fluid is a rodin coil , but if you put ferro fluid inside a rodin coil , it could be something that jumps into hyper space (its the motor ufos might be using) allthough the ferro fluid might freeze because off the high speeds it is rotating. Do some research on that, its interesting.
@tarzandekat: This year in school im planning on building a rodin coil and revolving a 2 inch neosphere in it. Im looking at the cost of the aluminum chunk...close to 100 dollars. 1) I highly doubt it would jump into hyperspace and 2) why would the ferrfluid get cold?, Theres friction and its an endothermic process for the ferrofluid.
A torus! i knew it. now do it with melted gold and see if the universe opens up!

put the fluid IN THE COIL. THen try putting two coils on top of eachother.

For a good understanding visit thefundamentaluniverse website!
Is bassed on Unified Theory, nammed "Helical Geometrodinamics".
Every week I present LIVE my theory on BaricadaTV (on line TV)
I atack science and religion....in the same time!

yo try adding a vibrating center for the vortex to be placed in

now lets see you do it with just silver metal mercury

@frankensteinmoneymac , pulsed DC, go to web site thefundamentaluniverse. and download 2 books...
If I put a dispole inside is like a pulse motor....

would the ferrofluid be rotating by itself if those wires would be electrically charged?

@MuZiK4LiFe01 Tehey are charged, see magnetic vortex rotating a magnetic sphere.
