@MrSillybilly22 The barrels are 22L oil drums (empty) we got them for free from my mate's dad who is a mechanic. So maybe if you go to a mechanic and ask if they have any empty old oil drums you might be in luck.
what were those barrels you used for flotation? me and my dad tried it with pbc pipe and 2 by 4s spent 200 dollars and failed. it floatd just not with me on it.

my friends and i built one a long time ago, we didn't have tools or materials like you guys did so we stole bamboo from someones property in order to add it under the raft, building it was very fun and trying it was priceless.
