  • Why do they wait such a long time to close the door? (Ik it's not "door" but you know what I mean)

  • I want to do this when I grow up.

  • USA # 1 We deliver on time everytime.. GO USAF!!!

  • USAF doing the most unlike China who stopped supplies from getting to haiti for a day because they wanted a photo shoot

  • thanks for the US ARMY parachute riggers too for rigging all those foods and water.

  • Well, America has parents who go on Fox News and cry that their little girl is missing in Haiti and lambast the US government for not doing more to try to find their child.

  • That is SO cool! thanks for posting this. That's the best way to feed these people, instead of it getting stolen by thugs, from what I hear. If you spread it out, everyone gets fed to a certain extent. Good job. Godspeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great efforts from the U.S. forces. A wonderful video as well. Thank you for sharing.

    Cupertino, Ca.

  • Well done....keep up the great work!

  • Good Job!!

    U.S.A

    (^^)

  • The best job is the Combat Camera Videographer who gets to document on all types of aircraft and missions....check out AFSC 3N0X2 if you're interested in a job like that...

  • You can fly as a loadmaster or a pilot if you are an officer. Another option but not always guaranteed is that you can be a flying crew chief if you are a maintenance guy and get stationed at a C17 base or another base with large planes (c5,c130, or a few others)

  • Do it again! that was beautiful

  • im one of the riggers that made theses lcds bunels

  • We turn it into a political issue because as yet, we see no actual aid reaching any Haitians on a mass level. I just see them wandering the streets, with no aid in sight, while the US military hoards all the supplies in the airport.

I'm not even sure this plane did anything other than rev its engines. Sorry to sound cynical, but the US military has a history of lying. I'm sure you understand.

  • well for all the haters my husband is in this video and he has been working around the clock since the haiti diaster happened. My lil girls haven't seen their daddy in days and we have been doing nothing but offering MORE help though his job and OUR church!!!

  • Air drops are awesome! Great video.

  • to bad they didnt show the 2T2's that loaded the CDS's on that C-17

  • @memnosis

    I think you're a complete retard. Honestly, I do.

Learn to spell as well, you make it sound as though you are some commie.

  • to bad they didnt show the 2T2's that loaded the plane to make that happen

  • Thank God I joined an organization that makes a difference.

  • Oddly, no coverage of the looting and fighting that happened because the DZ was not secure. Minor details.

  • @memnosis : People like you dont get outside to much. You probably sit home and let the news stations tell you whats going on out there everyday of your life. Just because they are green does not means its millitary. The system is set up in this fashion so the US relief on the ground can identify incoming relief packages. Before you say anything, do a little bit of research and know that green does not always equal "militar" stuff.

  • On the news coverage of the drops there where what appeared to be smaller bundles. Where they bundles or something to do with the parachute system?

  • Each of the bundles that were dropped were on a 48in by 48 in skid. I think the smaller bundles that you are referring to are the small extraction parachutes that extract the bigger parachute mounted to each bundle. The smaller extraction parachute will release away after it extracts the bigger parachute.

  • Each bundle that was dropped was on a 48 by 48 inch skid. Total of 40 bundles.

  • Livermore Labs did a drop of MRE's as individual packages and after that test the military used that idea in Bosnia 1993.

  • at last! god bless u

sure there might be argum about food but riots were happening anyway

    Thumbs up for Israel!

Israeli plane with field hospital came on Sat and they had it up and running as the 1st

    Conducted already 200 operations

    UN is a major failure

US delayed for days rescue arrival by flying in & out their citizens

  • If you're giving Israel all of this glory, you might as well give it to Turkey too, they were in before Israel.

  • Is that a C-130.if it is then I've been on one with my AFJROTC corps

  • @EmanonAi No thats A C-17 Globemaster III much much more bigger!

  • C-17. C-130 have turboprops.

  • Read it in the description, newbie, it's a C-17 Globemaster.

  • @Emanon Ai

The C-130 uses propeller engines (turboprops).

They do look similar on the inside though (to some extent).

  • @memnosis

What do you think was in the boxes, numbnuts, guns or food?

  • Shame on you guys. A situation like this does NOT need your politics. What in the world would the US gain from attacking or occupying Haiti? The US is one of the 1st countries to jump to people's aid in these situations. Hate them for other things, but this is one place where they always try to do what's right. They're in uniform because their job description requires it at all times. Duh.

  • @princessandthedudemo

I am pertty sure Satyagrehaha he was being ironic in response to what memnosis said...

You're right about the rest though. Over here in Europe, we are still debating what to do and all France is doing is criticising anything that does actually get done...

Anyway. Go US and US Armed Forces.

  • @memnosis "Duh! Those soldjers was whering uniformz. Must for to be parachute bombs they dropping." Friggin morons only see what they want to see. Or only what their few brain cells are capable of seeing.

  • word

    go us armed forces

  • Memnosis sees what he wants to see. Just like so many morons. "Duh! That load master was wearing a uniform. Proves it was bombs they were dropping." Shame on THAT. I would be lmfao if it wasn't so pathetic.

  • Should have just dropped water balloons ! haha jk

  • I see you have no idea. The boys are first class.

They'll do the right thing .... trust me honey ... lol

  • Well Done Guys

  • @memnosis Are you blind? :) One of the pallets was bursting to the seams with water bottles...

    Great work from USAF!

  • @memnosis If they dropped it over people then the could get hurt. These pallets weigh a ton.

  • What do you think. They drop boxes of fruit loops, it has to be properly prepared for airdrop. And there are plenty of people around, you can't drop on top of them, these pallets weigh 10k plus each.

  • Cool! Good job guys.

  • Does anyone know the afsc or name of the job enlisted folk can have to fly in the c17? Are they all load masters or is there another aircrew job that flies too???

  • 1A231 for basic Loadmasters. On the C-17 it is just Loadmasters and sometimes Crew Chiefs based on the mission.

  • Cargo Load Master. (1A2X1) You would probably fly in other cargo aircraft such as the C-130 and C-5. I don't know if there are other enlisted positions on board the C-17 but there are other jobs that allow you ride along in other aircraft.

  • Ya only loadmaster and pilot and copilot I believe. But, your not guaranteed to be on C17's if you get loadmaster unless you go guard or reserve. And their are a few enlisted that fly ask your local recruiter about em.
