I am a huge fan of R1 and R2. However i am terribly disappointed with this game. The 8 player co-op is gone, and the campaign is extremely lacking in comparison to other games in the series. The multiplayer doesn't touch R2 in anyway imo
@allotheabove123 if you really are a resistance gamer everyone will tell your R1's multiplayer was the best and R3 got close to that expierience where R2 failed on multiplayer on single player all were goods only thing i enjoyed of R2 was the coop it was beast.

well rev, that's because halo isn't even half of Crysis 2. but i agree resistance has the cool aliens, Crysis aliens are high tech and kinda weird so although the graphics are worse resistance had cooler looking aliens.... the best aliens ever are obviously aliens the movie. some badass aliens.
the auger is also a beast man..shooting through walls
its such a awesome experience,and it really saved me lots of times,especially the new york level with the god damn stalkers at the end
in the end..resistance 3's campaign is the most awesome campaign ive played of all the shooters,granted ive played great campaigns,but this one just takes the cake,hopefully insomniac continues the franchise and makes a even more awesome game.i dont care,resistance 3 is my goty so far
horde would be nice. but to many developers are trying to copy EPIC games and there horde mode. firefight was pretty good in halo. but people should just stop.
horde 2.0 is 5x better than the original. so it's going even further. this is one ridiculous year for gaming. just of the top of my head...gears 3, BF3, MW3, UC3, skyrim, dark souls, ac REV, resistance 3, saints row 3, RE games, batman, halo remake, forza 4, rage. dam!

I was going to buy the game but gears of war 3 is about to come out and that's a game I'm going to play for a while so I went to save mart to pick up some groceries and to my surprise redbox rents video games I was like I wonder if they have resistance 3 and BAM!! there it was at first i hated how jaggy the gamed looked but after about 30 minutes I dont even notice it anymore
@allensanchez1990 bro i would wait to get gears till xmas time cause when gears 2 came out i took like 30 min to find a match that would fucking just lag the whole time... but after like 5 title updates they fixed it... you should buy this game its great! but you probly already know that by now

REV i traded R3 and infamous 2 in got some money and i bought bulletstorm, the 2 original deus ex games, and james bond quantom of solace on steam i gotta say u MUST get bulletstorm its fucking amazing u will have tons of fun with that shit
Amazing game, it was a lot better than i expected. Like you say the online is lagging and a few issues but other than that i have no problems. R3 was the surprise of the year, i wasnt expecting it to be that good honestly, i was wrong.
indeed one of my biggest suprise this year go get it people it is sweet , as rev said the multiplayer is lagging and few frame drops here and there, but if they fix that oh hell i would be all day in it.
Also, I heard they took the online co-op missions out. It's cool you can do the campaign co-op, but the mission-based co-op shit in the online in R2 was pretty fun.
I also think it's cool that they brought health packs back in this one. That's oldschool, and I'm sick of the regenerating health in every game. It was cool that they at least explained it in R1 and Halo, though.
Totally agree about the Halo shit, what can I say. The aliens are corny little migits, talk like the fuckin' muppets, and the alien weaponry is pink and ghey.
I liked Resistance 1 & 2. I thought R2 had a badass campaign! I still don't get why people bash it. And I'm a little disappointed they scaled back the number of players in the online in this one. I get why, but that's what Resistance was about, and I think they should have kept that in there in a game mode at least.
This is what Killzone 3 should have been, a game where you feel hopeless and your just trying to survive. Instead they go hollywood and try to recreate 300.
I really like Resistance3 both single player and multiplayer its the best in the series by a country fucking mile. The Bullseye is awesome but they have totally ruined the Marksmen. There is nothing to be ashamed of liking Toy Story. The shotgun is called the Rossmore and its always been really good. The online is laggy at the moment but the matchmaking is different class however.

@yanksman52 Lol I bought R3 and Dead Island same day. Played dead island first for 2 hours, turned it off, booted up R3 and thats all I've been playing. Dead islands decent but wat the fuck is up with the movement. I had to turn the sensitivity all the way down to the bottom. Also searching for items takes too fucking long. Should be just one click searches, not 2

Halo is way better than Resistance. Resistance is good but nowhere near the league of quality of Halo.

The only thing i didn't like about the campaign is the ending. It doesn't show much, just a 20 second cut scene!
