  • i have an electronic food weight scale. I enter the food code, place my food portion on the plate on the scale, and it determine the calories, and the breakdown in grams of protein, carbs, fat of that food item. I repeat the same thing for all the food items I intent to eat. Then I assemble and pack multiple meals for the meals and days of the week. I know how much i will eat for the following week on Sunday when I do my big batch cooking.

  • how do you know how many calories are in fruits and veggies and things that do not have a nutrition label?

  • Thanks for the vid! Do we weigh the entire banana, skin and all, and enter that value in a calorie counter or do we weigh only the part that we eat?
