Anyone thinking of doing A+ should note: NITLC just want to get as many people enrolled as they can. They don't care whether the course is right for you or whether you are capable of doing the course at all. You have been warned. Colleges are the best places to do courses in IT. Ask yourself why the comments sections for half the videos on here have been disabled. Good luck with it all.
The hat says this guy is cool. He's the indiana jones of fixing PC's. I was going to post the time at which he actually begins to talk about A+. It never really happens.
Sweet.. I got A+ certified in an off campus highschool program! Talk about nerdy.. i can't belive no one knew wtf SLI was i was literally disapointed..
About me I am Freelance computer technician, and to break some stereotypes.. im black :) yeah we might rule in sports but we got some nerds too.
The comments posted here pointed out things that I couldn't see because they were too close to home. However I believe that the criticisms would be better if this was a professional video instead of being more of a bootleg. This video presents the first ten minutes of probably a 2 day event. And sad but true... these types of events often are kind of boring especially when watched on amateur video... just like watching real life sex (without an audience in mind) can actually be quite boring.
This guy reminds me of my community college pc hardware instructor. He is ok in some regards, but he really fails to focus on the relevant material on the A+ exams. He also has Net+ and Security+ books as well. DO NOT RELY ON THESE! Get the Exam Cram or Sybex books for these certs. It doesnt hurt to take some college courses as well, like I did to better prepare you to get certified. So far i have A+, Net+, Security+, and I am currently working on my CCNA (Cisco) which is hard as hell!
I really respect you per your publications, however you really need a PR manager! Maybe in your later 50s I can handle you live (or recorded). Please, as most see you through you books, you are brilliant, unless you just dont give a shit, please rethink your personal appearances!
I kept expectin to hear, put ur hands on the wheel where i can see em, drivers license registration son! Ha HA....he looks like a state trooper with that darn hat!! Plus i can barely hear anything!!
I took and passed both CompTIA A+ last November and saw that although the Mike Meyer book was ok as introductory material for a complete novice, it was vastly insufficient. The practice questions and answers did not reflect what was on the actual tests at all.
I found that the Exam-Cram manuals were the best by far.
Worst textbook in history. The CD that came with the book is worthless as well. After studying the book and taking notes, I took the test on the CD and got a 30%. The fact is, most of the information in the book does not begin to address what is on the tests. Not even his CD ROM practice tests!!! The guy might know his tech, but he sure sucks as a teacher.

Thanks for the upload. Would have been great if you had better voice, or at least subtitles.
