We put all this energy into developing Maglev technology instead of figuring out, why are we traveling in the first place. What is it in us that neccesitates even the need to travel or the need for new experiences. We must ultimately develop the technology of SELF.
While I very much appreciate the direction, I think this misses the point slightly. We are still viewing technology as the ability to assimilate the material universe to meet our needs. The higher ideal (which i think would be realized yet in the direction Zeitgeist proposes) is to develop the technology of self. Logic proves that 'God' exists. But this existence is of something beyond human conception as to be recognized as something even beyond our 'infinity'. It is not God, but the conveyance of God through institutions of control.

There is no Science-religion dichotomy, religion is a part of philosophy and I for one find it ignorant that one to disregard philosophical thought, science is just a tool for understanding the universe, I as an engineer take this knowledge to come up with new technology. From a philosophical point of view, a eternal GOD(the initial cause) MUST exist, we have no infinite regression, however a GOD in human's image is absurd, humans are no more special than the Universe we live in.

You don't get it, I'm basing myself on definition here, it isn't hard to understand, God is most simply put, the creator, so WHATEVER causes the initial cause IS God, no matter what it is, simply because it generated everything we know, (I'm not going to argue infinite regression here). All we can conclude is that the creator is not the universe, not in the universe and not like the universe, where is the problem here, btw, appealing to authority is not a valid argument.

I never said that the belief in a creator was a scientific THEORY, a theory is an hypothesis which has withstood the trial of time and proven itself true after many experiments, You can't put the creator of the universe to the test through the Universe, hence scientifically proving God is impossible and will never pass by as nothing but an hypothesis, however philosophically, the only escape of infinite regression is a timeless creator, if it's inescapably true, it's a fact.
Notice I am a muslim, wasn't born one, but such a belief is not something exclusive to Islam, and Islam doesn't claim you must be a muslim.. I can't explain in detail here WHY I became muslim, but theologically it corresponds to what I derived philosophically for a Creator.

I don't have a beef with religion but with the way my fellow human beings treat each other because of it! While I very much appreciate the direction, I think this misses the point slightly. We are still viewing technology as the ability to assimilate the material universe to meet our needs. The higher ideal (which i think would be realized yet in the direction Zeitgeist proposes) is to develop the technology of self. The ability that goes beyond solving problems, but addressing the desires themselves that neccessitate the concept of "problems" or "obstacles".

God does exist. But the profundity of God is something extending beyond the infinite, and is beyond your conception (and mine). You can only hope to have intercourse with God, if that is chosen for you by God... and this is beyond even your experience of time. If in fact you do 'believe', lead by example.

There is no Science-religion dichotomy, religion is a part of philosophy and I for one find it ignorant that one to disregard philosophical thought, science is just a tool for understanding the universe, I as an engineer take this knowledge to come up with new technology. From a philosophical point of view, a eternal GOD(the initial cause) MUST exist, we have no infinite regression, however a GOD in human's image is absurd, humans are no more special than the Universe we live in.

You don't get it, I'm basing myself on definition here, it isn't hard to understand, God is most simply put, the creator, so WHATEVER causes the initial cause IS God, no matter what it is, simply because it generated everything we know, (I'm not going to argue infinite regression here). All we can conclude is that the creator is not the universe, not in the universe and not like the universe, where is the problem here, btw, appealing to authority is not a valid argument.

I never said that the belief in a creator was a scientific THEORY, a theory is an hypothesis which has withstood the trial of time and proven itself true after many experiments, You can't put the creator of the universe to the test through the Universe, hence scientifically proving God is impossible and will never pass by as nothing but an hypothesis, however philosophically, the only escape of infinite regression is a timeless creator, if it's inescapably true, it's a fact.

I don't have a beef with religion but with the way my fellow human beings treat each other because of it! They do not see that we are one of the same made from the same stuff with the same worrys and loves. My wife is about to bring life into the world our first child. Any man made God is merely an ant to the true power of the universe as the bounds of human imagination cannot hold a candle to the complexities of the universe. Either way there has been more killing in "his" name than there has been saving lives in "his" name. The biggest flaw is that you're being taught everything about "him" through a book that was written by MAN. Man created god, not the other way around. I also agree that we are part of the same system but we are on the same system on a different levels. If there is 'one meaning of life', it certainly isn't freedom of choice, which, by the way, you still have the freedom of. Just because we are all one does not mean you are free individually. Even science teaches us that something cant come from nothing that everything had a beginning. And energy has a sorce. Just because a person has never seen an electric power plant dose that mean he can reasonably question the existance of it and claim that it comes from nothing , life can only come from life. Angels are simply another type of beings that God created for a purpose. And they are somewhat like humans a mixture of good ones and bad ones. But each one serves a purpose.
