  • Great Comments! I've always heard the influence of Classical piano, especially Debussy, Ravel. And I've head that a lot. I hear a bit of Erik Satie in this piece too. And the repeating chord pattern sounds a lot like "Flamenco Sketches", which is my favorite song on Miles Davis landmark recording "Kind of Blue", which has Bill Evans on all but one track. I recently heard a version of Peace Piece by The Kronos Quartet w/ Eddie Gomez and Jim Hall that was quite interesting. -Peace...

  • i am sure this is a favourite of george W. bush. smile!

  • I hear a bit of Erik Satie in this piece. It's common knowledge Bill was a fan of Ravel as well.

  • Classical sensibility brought into the age of groove, man. Perhaps the best thing since Debussy.

  • Bill > Satie
