michael was not an avid drug user. i know he experimented with pot as a youth, but im pretty sure he was just really into meditation/yoga and the like as an adult. his death was not drug related.
Hedges definitely smoked pot at the very least. There are a few interviews from people who knew him saying how he flipped out after hearing his recordings that would later become Aerial Boundaries. He disappeared for 3 hours in the forest and then came back, lit a huge joint, and listened to it again. As for the reason of the car crash: winding wet road and a small BMW.
I'm happy that his death was quick, he deserved that. He will be missed but always remembered
i dont think michael did drugs, there were some tests made on his blood after the crash to see if he was under the influence of drugs during the moment of the crash
@salm37 I believe he died in a car crash if I'm not mistaken. As to his drug usage I'm not sure. I know he was pretty eccentric but that doesn't neccesarily mean he did alot of drugs.

yeah it was a car crash.. slipped off the road on a hill and his car crash onto the ground. dies instantly. to anyone who got to meet him, i envy you
