Rolling Rock was always my favorite beer.
It had a unique taste, a great taste as a matter of fact.
I liked that it was brewed in a small town by folks who had generations working in the same brewery producing a product they were proud of.
I will always miss my old freind from the mountain springs of old Latrobe.

Ok, lets think about this rationally. Seems to me, the 'greed' everyone talks about is the people who RECIEVES the money. I doubt AB held a gun to anyones head, (as in The Godfather) and forced anyone to signed over the business. I would direct my anger to the stockholders of Rolling Rock. But then again, I'm just on the outside looking in.

Corporate arguments aside, there's definitely something to be said for losing something that you've enjoyed for 20 years. AB says that they will continue to honor this great beer, but the new RR tastes like a typical AB piece of crap, nothing like the Rock I have enjoyed for the past two decades. As for the argument that it hasn't been true Rolling Rock since the sale to InBev, it's never been about the owner, it's always been about the brewery. I will miss 33. R.I.P.

No problem asswipe--I don't mind making you 20 bucks for your worhtless arguments. The fact of the matter remaons: AB and Inbev screwed Latrobe, PA and the workers at the Old Latrobe brewery. In the process, they are dismantling a legendary brand. It's called GREED and poor marketing managment by Anheiser Busch in their quest to consolidate the industry and buy market share. AB could have practised good corporate responsibility and kept the brewery open--I have no problem with that scenerio.
