  • bravo

  • whats all the logic we see at the end?

I recently have finished a school project which used an old basic stamp to drive five 5x7 LED arrays.

would I be right in thinking you used 74-137/138 (or cmos equiv. - either way I used 3 bit BCD line decoders) pairs to drive the LED's with?

  • I actually did it in kind of a screwy way. I had I think 8 data lines and 3 or 4 select lines, so I put D flip-flops on the first three select line output 'addresses', and wrote the red, green and blue color data for a specific row out to them. This allowed me to have 24 data outputs, so I could light 3 color channels for each of the lights in the row. After I programmed this column data, I used a different select line 'address' to turn that row on so it could be displayed.

  • what kind of led di you use please?

  • looks like a standard 8x8 tri color array (these should be quite easily available)

  • acid trip lol

  • wowowowow wie cool hast das gemacht :)

  • Danke sehr :-)
