At the time, it cost K1500 each (Burmese kyat) which is just over a US dollar each :)

How much do they charge for this? It looks like you'd best go with a large group of people. Does a lot of the food end up wasted, cos they serve such a lot? I hope the economy and political climate changes in time for me to take a trip there, although I reckon the economy will change long before the politics do. It sure looks yummy though.

The food doesn't get wasted so long as you stop them when you think you've got enough on your table, and each dish is smaller than it looks with only two or three spoonfuls in it - must create a lot of washing up though!
