I paid invoice on the car since I worked there. But even if you pay full sticker, the difference in price is roughly $800 bucks anyways, there is no mark up on Fits. But thanks! I am certaintly still loving the car, it has 3500 miles on it now, check out my other videos with updates!

The Fit may be a bit more expensive than the Sonic but I think its worth it... It has proven reliability, more interior space and cargo room, the strongest resale value in the class and its very fun to drive. I heard the sonic is too but its pretty expensive as well and I just don't trust GM with a small car. The sonic is literally the only "decent" small car they have built but I cant forget about the awful aveo

Its a firm ride and there is a bit of engine and road noise but it doesnt bother me, I have music blasting most of the time and the sport handling makes up for it

Im not sure I like the new bigger grille over the older smaller grille. To me it looks too much like the first gen Ford Focus. However your Fit looks gorgeous, My favorite color is Taffeta White but that Vortex Blue makes the Fit look like a much more expensive car than it is. Very very classy.

I am looking at getting more or less a Sport used probably 2010+. Is the manual that much more fun to drive over the paddle shifters ? I have driven 5 spds albeit in slower cars

I could take either or for the grille, I just love the new rims and headlights on the 2012s the most :) But thanks for the compliment! I def would recommend the Fit to anyone! But my advice is try the stick shift model for yourself, you will not be disappointed and you will def notice a hug difference compared to the automatic model ;)

I was going to go used but the price of a 2012 Sport with 5spd MT is almost the same as a used AT transmission Fit.

Man, I love your review. Been looking at this car for awhile now. You express exactly how I feel about this car. I have a 99 Honda Accord Coupe LX and, like you, I'm thinking of selling it and getting this. I want a Sport 5 spd manual transmission too, however, I'd prefer it in silver, with nose mask and without the factory navigation system. So yeah, me too. Hopefully I can make it happen.

wow thanks! you won't be disappointed! But def go with the 5MT, it really changes the character of this car, my only gripe with it is the fact that there is no factory XM or bluetooth with the manual, but other than that it is a fantastic, fun, little car.

Nice car and I like the color but if I were you I would have looked at a 2012 Chevy Sonic. It would have given you everything you wanted in the fit plus more (XM is available in the dash rather than needing a separate unit). Still a nice car hope you enjoy it.

No thanks, I would probably never own a GM product. I looked at the Ford Fiesta but it was too cramped on the inside and was more expensive than the Fit. Would have been nice to have factory XM but the way a car drives and feels is more important to me vs features :P

Did you think about getting the clear bra? It's well worth it if you're going to keep it for many years. It would have prevented that chip and probably just have taken a chunk out of the material. It's still not too late but don't wait long cause it will look best and adhere best if it's still clean and smooth.

Woot, Love your FitS! Color looks awesome, big Blue fan here myself. My 370z is blue, my 350z was blue.. the list is long, lol. Headlights look awesome at 8K and super bright, watched the other vid, though the high beams now look sad in comparison. Great economical and spacious little car. Can't wait to see your 0-60 when it's broken in. Window tint is going to add just that little touch all cars need and especially yours since it has so much glass area. Come pick me up I want a ride! ;)

Blue was def the top of my list for my first new car so I'm glad I got what I wanted :) The high beams do looks sad unfortunetly :( I wish it didnt turn off the low beams when they come on lol. I guess the high revs on the highway are the price to be paid for the nice sporty gearing. The Fiesta is quieter on the highway but it's not as fun to drive because of the longer gears.

It did bug me but after driving the automatic and having to floor it and drop 2 gears to get any passing power Im glad Honda did that with the gearing in the MT. I can leave the car in 5th gear and just put my foot down to pass someone :)

Nice man, a new Fit! I was kinda shocked to hear that though, I would have thought you would have gone for a GTI or an ST or even a 7th gen Accord since you love them so much. But since it had to be a small car, I'm glad it's the Fit. It's definately the most fun to drive small car out there so nice choice and congrats! But I wish this car had the 6MT from the CR-Z!

The GTI was on my list but the one I wanted was $12 grand more than my FIt, the vehicle just didnt justify the cost for me, plus insurance, gas, and taxes would have been a lot higher. But I agree, I wish the 6MT from the CRZ was in this vehicle, although the higher gearing would have made passing on the highway a bit more difficult, with this transmission I can leave it in 5th to pass someone

FInally, I've been waiting for this video for so long. OMG, the Vortex looks beautiful on the Sport. I'm so happy for you, the fit is so much more practical then the Accord. As long as you don't speed shift or redline the engine during break in you are not going to damage the engine. Besides it's a Honda, their engines can handle abuse.

Have the clear protectant film applied to the front of the car. I put it on my accord 6 six years ago and it really protects against rock chips, It applies like window tint. Ask your tint installer about it, It's kind of expensive but well worth it.

Probably no for the cargo cover, I think the tint for the windows will be enough to hide my stuff from sight. Plus that thing is like 200 bucks, not worth it to me lol.

I haven't driven the new GDI 1.6L engine, drove the old one and it sucks, noisy, unrefined, sounds like a lawn mower when it starts up. The new engine still sounds like a lawn mower when it starts up but not sure how it drives. I'd be curious to know but I still think Honda makes the best sounding 4 cyls
