Lol. I live about two miles away from a ridge with five volcanos on it (in New Mexico). If we plugged up Mt. Kilauea with a giant cork, I'm sure all of the five local volcanos would pop open and spew lava on my neighborhood, so maybe the giant cork isn't such a great idea....
