@whateverlove11 John Dillinger is known all over the world and people still talk to him he was a Gangster, but who was the guy that killed him the police officer. That's right he was not known and even after Public Enemies (2009) people still don't know his name, just a bum. People hate gangster but they love them too lol.

@Wiz4Rd7 no JD didnt kill Civillians. He killed quite a few cops and federal agents though. Pretty Boy Floyd was the real evil committed by the FBI, they can only prove that he killed one man...a bounty hunter... in self defense. Then they tortured and summarily executed him without arrest or trial. Nelson was a psychopath who died because he hunted down federal agents and all combatants died the battle that followed.

@Wiz4Rd7 He killed one cop, but that's cuz he shot at him. So, JD shot back and hit him in the leg, but the guy fell right into the path of another bullet, meant for his other leg probably, which killed him. But still.

Dillinger had plastic surgery so he could live freely...and then the FBI figured who he was after he robbed a bank after he got the surgery

The post mortem report of the dead body showed evidence it wasn't him (for instance the dead person had more teeth than JD had)...i'm quite sure he left the country for good under false disguise...

He was a career criminal he could not go straight even if he wanted too. So if it wasn't Dillinger that got shot why did his crimes stop after the shooting?
