i just built my new computer and don't have any drivers installed. i just installed windows 7 and i am getting this blue screen. i can't install the drivers because the computer shuts down before i can. any help?
@camocommander321 In your case i would go through all the different components of your computer and check each one to make sure they are compatible of working with each other. You should have done this before you started to make your PC but in case you haven't you need to do it now. After that go to safe mode with networking and try installing drivers or software in there and also have look at your bluescreenview to see what could be the problem.
@InternetFree i am sure that all the parts are compatible with each other and working properly, but i don't have internet on that computer yet. i have the installation discs for the drivers, but when i try to run them in safe mode it doesn't work.
@camocommander321 Erm not sure, i mean if you can't install something off CD/DVD then i would check your driver for your CD/DVD (it comes pre installed) or check the actually hardware of CD/DVD R/W. If everything else if fine try installing drivers from internet if you can connect to internet and also may ask, the drivers that you have on your CD/DVD are those your drivers? or are these these the drivers that came with the product when you bought the different parts for you PC.?
i just downloadet amd overdrive and got blue screen and when i start my pc in 10 sec blue screen, and in safe mode i cant delete the motherfucking file ! plz help!
@FyrworksG erm not sure what the overdrive is but you can try and do a system restore? if that doesn't work, you can try using a system restore or something similar disk to restore the setting back to original or just override it with another driver from their website.
well, there are two reasons shown by the BlueScreenView.... one is 'ntoskrnl.exe+705c0' and the second is 'netbt.sys' ...... plz suggest me some ways to resolve these....... m fed up with this BSOD.......... it happens again and agian within a couple of hours......
@MIproductions1000 are you using a laptop? if so then the problem could be your network adapters driver. check to see what adapter your running then go to their website and update your driver see if that helps.
@OPHTT well "ntkrnlpa.exe" is responsible for managing with your memory so i would first look at the hard drive then RAM. for the hardware find out its make and then download a diagnosis tool from the manufactures website and run it on hard drive to look for errors. Similar thing can be done with the RAM by installing "memtest" and running it to look for errors. Depending on what you find one of them might be the problem.
@LTmanu Yeah its fine, but make sure you have driver with you to re-install it back, or have another computer with internet connection so that you can install the driver off the internet if you don't have it.
The BSOD on my computer doesnt stay on my screen long enough to read what its telling me..its only there for like 5 secs..im not even able to log in and get to my desktop so that i can do what u did in this video. It just continously restarts, then goes to the recovery options..when i choose any of the safe modes, the BSOD appears again and the computer just restarts again. =( what do i do?
@JS007 SAME PROBLEM HEREATER got it from repair at acer with fresh install (so they say) TRIED myself to- safemode but samething. Tried to reformat, got stonewalled No Disk! read to change my STAT to IDE in bios but that SCREWED the AcerAspire laptop further with just the acer splashscreen, then it just restarts over again continuiously! HELP ANYONE PLZZZ!
@813FROST813 If thats the case then watch my new BSOD videos on my channel, where i show you the 2 main types of blue screens, One that creates minidump folder and the other one that dosn't.
@InternetFree damn it. thanks anyway but it didnt really help me. heres what happen with my pc. like a month ago it froze so we restarted it and it gave the blue screen each time we started it up. so it wouldnt even go to the desk top. so then i reformatted the pc. i downloaded this game i ALWAYS use to play perfect world international and it installed with no issues and as soon as i open it blue screen (error code always diff) and i have re-installed all of my hardware. so idk what to do :\
@813FROST813 Look at your hard drive make, then go to that manufactures website and download utility for hard drive diagnoses. Once you run it see what you find, if you find errors such as bad sectors then that could be the problem. You can either then replace your hard drive or use it as normal..but you might have problems with it later on. Also just listen to the hard drive when its on, it shouldn't be making any screeching noises, if it is then its not good :( and will need replacing.
@InternetFree it sometimes makes the noises when i am starting it up. not so much of a screeching noise. anyway ima juat go 2 a pc shop and get a upgrade and a serves its parts are a little out dated now. but i think its an issue with my graphics card. Nividia 8600 GT
@813FROST813 oh if you get Nvidia card then you are most likely to run into different types of problems..These cards are good but there are soo many problems with them especially when it comes to playing different games. Well gl on the service and upgrade.
@tlaroche38 -.- most to all blue screen of death is caused by a game. YOU CANT GAME ON MAC! mac is only usefull for media. shit for gaming. so in most cases mac=useless ijs
@lovemaster579 Ok, check your RAM with "memtest" and your hard drive with a utility from that manufactur of the hard drive. See if you find any errors in either RAM or your Hard drive.
Dude thanks a lot for this tutorial, now i can understand a lot more on how to manage windows errors =), but still i need some advice going to send you and inbox.
@MisterDude9800 ok thats good. If you have problem with memory management it means that the problem is somewhere in your RAM or your Hard Drive. For the RAM download a free software called "memtest" to check your memory for errors, and for hard drive download software from the hard drives makes website and run that on your hard drive to check for errors. Hope that helps.
@MisterDude9800 Look at the all the files that was the problem, like if you have multiple blue screens then look at all of them and just tell me the files names Or just send me the minidump folder and i'll have a look. To be honest i'm not sure my self what "xNtKrnl.exe" is but it looks like a system file and is unlikely the problem.
Argh how do I go into my computer if I have bsod and safe mode doesn't give me my administrator or my account so I need help badly because my dad isn't going to help me cuz he quite hates me...
@SupHandFire Not quite sure what you mean. If you can't login in normally then go in to your computer using safe mode. Once inside your PC in safe mode have a look at your "minidump" folder and see what could have caused the blue screen. Once you know where the problem is, you can then go and eliminate the problem and hopefully fix the blue screen.
@kardonization ok first try re-installing your operating system see if the works, if that dosn't work then you might need to replace your hard drive as it it could be corrupt and faulty.
@InternetFree Ok, I have windows xp home edition, does that mean that I need to purchase the home edition disc or could I just get any kind of xp(like xp pro, or the regular one)? And would re-installing it remove all my data, photos, videos, etc...Or if I replace my hard drive, would that remove my data?
thank you. I could not fix the problem from your video but that blue screen viewer showed me what was wrong so now ill i have to do is find out how to fix it so thank you again
@draghead5 Yeah good luck on it, I mean this video isn't very clear I have to admit, so if you wana go through my check-list in the NEW blue screen video, you might just find the problem.
@ShowTime4232 Yeah that is one of the really annoying things about it, and from what I know there isn't a way to see it for longer. You just have to be ready to take picture or record it at the time when it happens.
I need a big help. When I install GTA San Andreas, it works perfectly the first 2-3 minutes...Then I do some actions, like trying to punch someone, or driving a car away and this problem of blue screen pop-ups and restarts my xp computer, which is old..named XEROX..I tried many different ways to solve this, but nothing works for me..So..PLEASE. HELP ME! (And of course, I will subscribe to you if you help me out)!
@richmondalcaraz Go into safe then look at your minidump folder and see where the problem is, and also try and re-create the blue screen. If you get blue screen in safe again then it suggests that you have problem with one of your hardware otherwise if you don't then it must be software failure somewhere.[Watch my new video on my channel i explain it in there!]
@MrChriseyyy Sorry not sure what you mean. The error in the video is graphic card error is that what you been getting or is the other one where it says "windows operating system kernal etc etc"?
@BlaseFome If thats the case then it shows that you have a faulty hardware. You can try and find which hard is faulty or you can simply get a new computer. (if your computer is old , getting new one is good idea otherwise find the faulty hardware).
Thanks for the help but I only have one problem. The blue screen of death is preventing me to even go on my desktop and everything so how do I fix that?
@LucarioDXAuraStorm Well you could try accessing your computer through safe mode, like i showed in video or restore PC to "last known good configurations", and if that fails as-well then you have to do a clean installation of windows 7 or Xp what ever you use.
I've been getting the BSOD which said is caused by a USB Driver. I remember I configured my external harddrive when plugged into my Xbox. When I inserted it on my laptop, it's started to blue screen on random occasions. Does anyone have a solution? Also my blue screen is just blank, with no writing whatsoever :s
@aviBlud Well if its USB for wifi then it might be over heating, but if its your hard drive then revert or restore your hard drive back to its original settings see if that fixes it? You say USB, but what kind of USB? like memory stick, or USB used for WiFi connection or something else? (btw i dont know much about X-box caz i dont own one :P)
@InternetFree Thank you for your reply! I was incredibly stupid...I configured my XBOX with my External Hardrive (Freecom, memory stick) and it said Microsoft on it! So instead of using the XBOX harddrive, I had to connect my External! Had to format my harddrive, so I have lost everything! Luckily I found a software which exports all my music from harddrive to computer which was the most important thing!
@InternetFree P.S. My laptop is absolutely rubbish, although it has had some good use for 4-5 years, but it never had a BSOD, just overheats, so I had a feeling it was the External Harddrive. Just bought a basic desktop so hopefully that'll be reliable. Thanks again for your reply, very helpful video!
I have BSOD on my Dell Laptop. What is the bypass method to get into windows? I have tried safemode w/networking. Any other options please and thank you.
@MsMe712 Yeah :( the only two ways you can get in either normal or using the safe mode method, if either of them don't it means there is something major missing (files) or that your hard drive is dead and so OS won't start. The only other thing left to do is either try repairing the OS (hardly ever work) or you can just do a clean installation of windows.
@InternetFree Thank you for your timely response!!! Any recommendations on videos that would be good for tutorials OR what products to buy for this process...Thanks again for being the Robin Hood of today's technology :)
i checked the mini dump folder no files was in there i went in safe mode and check if there was any exclamation marks next to any drivers/devices and there was none, my fan on laptop doesnt seem lick its blowing enough maybe some dust, if it was overheating would a file still pop up in minidump?
@brooky360 On my channel I have another video with 2 parts, Watch it and you will see that there are 2 types of blue screens, one where there is noting in minidump folder another where there is the blue screen inside the minidump folder. If you dont have anything in minudmp folder then you need to take picture or record your monitor when you get blue screen because on the blue screen it will list the driver that's causing the problem.(if you confused just refer to my new BSOD vid)
@GoofClownHead Well the ones you listed, are system files which do different things, try and find something that is NOT part of your operating system, such as a driver you have download, or a driver used by any hardware on your PC because if you think about it the problem can't be system files Unless you have virus or you deleted or manipulated system files in anyway. From what you told me, I would suggest you check your RAM with "memtest" and also run diagnostics on your hard drive.
can you help me ?? I got to the bluescreenview and a file name "ntoskrnl.exe " of product name " Microsoft windows operating system". Another one is "tcpip.sys" but it does not have the product name. what am I gonna do next. thanks a lot
When i play games and stuff suddenly my screen tears up and i get bluescreen, it only shows for 1 sec. My computer works fine afterwards but once i open a game i get bluescreen again after a while, any help?
@InternetFree: I can't boot into windows, I receive BSOD even in safe-mode. I think it's a driver that is causing the problem, but because I can't boot into W7, I can't uninstall that driver.
Any idea how can I uninstall a driver if I can't access windows?
@drpascu Well if you can't even get into your computer through safe mode then I don't think its a driver. The only other way to get is to do a fresh clean install of windows 7. You will need windows 7 on a CD/DVD disk then just reboot computer, inset disk then format drive and install windows. (you will lose everything on your hard drive).
@j2dakool Well you could try updating it, or using and older version of the driver if that don't work then un-install it completely then install it back again (of course assuming that the problem is on software side)
@extremebrisk1 Nah, that's not normal, usually if you get BSOD, it just dies and you have to restart it or the computer restarts itself. ctrl+alt+del is a security feature that prevents virus from spreading in your computer (not 100% sure). If you can access your computer run anti virus scan just to make sure computer isn't infected, and by the way you can get blue screen if you have some sort of virus aswell.
@extremebrisk1 I'm not sure about fixing because i don't know the problem and you want a link for anti virus which suggests that you don't have anti virus?? Just download a free anti virus software such as AVG or Avast. I personally use Avast its good enough.
@VHEME78 If that's the case then you can do a clean installation of your windows operating system. So insert your windows 7 CD/DVD then boot from it, then format your hard drive then install the windows on it. (you will lose everything doing this) although sometimes windows creates a folder called windows.old which stores your previous windows.
@11cobu Well if you have a screen that is all blue and has white writing on it, then yeah its a blue screen. check your minidump folder see if you got the blue screen there or not.
@MrFreshouse Please refer to my new video about blues screens, where I go through the two types of blue screen, One is where the information about blue screen is stored in the minidump folder but there is another type where it tells you why you are getting the blue screen, ON the blue screen. Basically when you get blue screen just take picture of it, its the same as minidump folder.
@InternetFree Yes, thanks, but, how to get the BlueScreen cuase it haven't a certain time to be shown... ( for example: i was on google chrome when the BSOD showed up suddenly!!! )
So, my question is: How to make BSOD to be shown again, to have the possibility to take a picture of it ???!
@MrFreshouse Ah that's one of the things you have to find out. Like I mentioned in the new video, I talk about finding a pattern in your blue screen occurrence. Like do you get blue screen everything you open Google chrome? or when you a play a specific game? or when you listening to music? or when you play a movie? etc etc. It's one of the things you will start to see if you keep getting blue screens.
Just had a BAD BSOD! Basically, was playimg a game as normal on my new pc (only 2/3 days old) and then randomly BSOD happened. I restarted it ask, but I can't enter the windowsn, it doesn't let it. Some another blue screan error appears and restarts the computer. Tried to system restore and what now, nothing helped. Had to reinstall windows to get it working, but now I'm worried it might happen again on a new comp. Anyone got any clue what it could be and what should I do? :S
@Inf3ct3d92 Well if your computer is custom built then it's very likely that one of your components is incompatible and is unable to work properly with other components. Like you said you had to do a clean install to even get into windows clearly suggest problem is on your hardware side. Remember I'm just throwing this out there, of-course I don't know anything about your computer. Next time you get blue screen just look at it and see why you got the blue screen. Like it will say the file name.
@InternetFree Yeah it's custom built by a website, the shouldn't really allow hardware which wont be compatable with eachother. Plus a lot of friends got it from there and never had problems. I will got 3 years warrenty, just annoying, still annoying that already got a problem with my pc. Will a BSOD be a good reason to send it back to get Gpu or what ever replaced? Could be due to a low PSU? like its only 500w and I'm suing 6 core AMD and a GeForce 560 ti? That was the lowest psu site alloud
@Inf3ct3d92 Oh and I will try to avoid BSOD and playing SC2 for now, need it for my work. Plus it's fuckes up hardware, can't risk with it. But if it happens again I will take the code and use your guide to see the fault/cause. I hope its just drivers. Pc case got a lot of fans, and it run stable with any game. Even played SC2 before and it was fine. Could be a dodgy driver, as it happened after I installed it. Well I just hope I wont ever see it again, I will send it back
you know I have problem with blue screen but the problem is like that. when I use my computer some times actually every day 5-7 times may be more it is shuting down and then opening blue screen then end of the blue screen there is something loading with %'s 5% to 100% and then the computer is opening as normal but after 1 hour or 45 min. ( it depants :) ) the process is replying again and again. my question is how can I solve this problem...
@ThePoladov To be honest that is one of the problems I'm finding very hard to understand.. But from what i'v heard about this so far the problem is either that your computer is over-heating..so you computer shuts it down then restarts it, I had VERY similar problem on my laptop which i later found to be from over heating. The second thing is that you have problem with your Battery if your using laptop as it wares off over time..if its desktop then battery can't be the problem.
@InternetFree Yeah I am using laptop. and you are RIGHT. And my battery is too low right now. I mean it takes 30 minutes max. so what I have to do ? if I change the battery is this problem solved ? but without battery I use the laptop. it is also shuts it down then restarts it. :(
@ThePoladov Laptop batteries wares of after about 1 year time. Now your battery might be fine or it might not be, and i have no idea how to test it. The other major problems with laptops is over-heating. You want to check your computer and see the amount of heat it creates. You can isntall some tools which will measure the tempreture of your CPU for example. Just move the back side of your hand to where the heat comes from your laptop and see if its too hot not.
@ThePoladov Most cases when computer get too hot, the power supply shuts power down to the computer to prevent it from over-heating. I think something similar is happening to your laptop, because if you had a problem i.e. with one of the components inside your computer then your computer should shut down straight away not after using it for an hour or 45min if you know what i mean?
@grande2195 Well if you can't access your computer through safe mode, you can try re-installing windows operating system. If you have CD/DVD with the operating system such as windows 7 you can do a clean install which will delete everything and would be like a fresh start. If you don't have windows 7 borrow it from friends or family. IF you can not even install windows Operating system such as windows 7 then it means your Hard Drive is corrupt and so you will need to buy a new one.
I have a silly question before my computer crashes again...*waits* when I get the blue screen I can't see what got dumped or why cause it goes so fast. I mean less than a second and it's restarted. so I don't get to see why it's crashing. I have it placed on a cooling pad to keep it cool, I shut it off at night and I haven't added anything to it, execpt REGZOOKA to try and fix the problem but it still doing it. My updater is always running and nothing will update, I get errors with that as well.
@Hochichin When you get a problem treat it as a simple problem and it will actually become simple. Now if you get Blue screens, like I stated in my new BSOD video there are two types of blue screen one where it will tell you which file/driver is causing the BSOD while the other one will simply make a minidump folder in you C drive. Have look your C drive see if you got a minidump folder or not then if you haven't then you will need to take picture of blue screen when it occurs.
@Rightnut20 ntoskrn.exe is system file/files that is responsible for managing your memory in your computer. So it would include your two main types of memory which includes your RAM and Hard drive. I would suggest first testing your RAM, by installing "memtest" then burning the memtest to CD/DVD then boot computer from memtest and let it scan all of your RAM. Once that's done you can go ahead and test your hard aswell. Let me know how it goes.
@BleuTech I just got the bsod and my minidump folder is empty too. I did a little bit of research and realized that it's empty because I used ccleaner right after the bsod. Not sure if you did the same but that can possibly be why its empty.
@Sounditoutahhwet ye that can be, but remember there are 2 main types of blue screens, one where the physical memory is stored in a minidump folder and the other where no information is stored BUT it tells you on the actual blue screen which files or driver has caused the blue screen. In my new video I went through both types of blue screen if you interested just have look it at, its in part 1.
When I try to use the youtube upload I can upload anything under like 2mins. If I try to upload like 6 min vids, it gives me a blue screen.. Any way to fix this?
lol i found somthing its partly because of google chrome lol dude that made this vid stop using google chrome ino i love google chrome but you cant use it :(
@triple3h333 It might be because you are not getting blue screens but you are getting blank screen or just a crash without blue screen. If you getting blank screens then it usually changes to blue screens over time but you can have a look at your "event viewer" for now since you don't have a minidump folder. Event viewer allows you to see the last thing that happened before a crash or w/e. You can access it by going to start>right click computer>select "manage" then click "event viewer".
@Boosterinadesert Well to be honest I use to but now I'm way too busy since I'm studying at University, so now I don't play allot. If I do I just go a few Stealing Creations Games the rest is boring :P
hello man i have Toshiba Satellite L505D-13V and windows 7 ultimate i just go to drink some water and i come back i see small blue screen with some noisy sound how to fix this ?
Here we go again -_- my blue screen of death came back even after i bought a disc set (it included a system dic, 2 recovery discs, and a language disc) that was supposed to get rid of bsod permanantly. 2 weeks later its back. What do i do?! The screens i recently got are: bad pool header
@Dubstep2011Uk to be honest with you I have no idea why or what that name is. What you need to do is try and open it and try and access the blue screens in the folder. I don't understand what you have problem with.
@InternetFree is that a bad thing ? coz ive only had my pc 3-4 months and its been accouring a while it happens when i start up sometimes then after a while of restarting my pc it works then its fine entil i turn it off again then it will sometimes accour again.
@Dubstep2011Uk yeah its not good unless its something YOU done that has made your computer get blue screens or crashes. I can't explain things here so watch my new video about blue screen and try and follow the steps to get closer to the source of the problem. so yeah just check out my new video which has 2 parts to it and I explain things in details while going through an example of solving a blue screen.
@Dubstep2011Uk No don't delete it because it won't do you or the computer any good. The file "ntoskrnl.exe" is basically a file responsible for dealing with your computers memory. So to narrow things down your problem is either in your hard drive or your RAM, please note that it can sometimes be memory of your graphic card as-well. Like I said refer to the new blue screen video it will answer most of the questions. The if you still need help I'll help.
can someone please help me. Every time i boot up in windows 7, either it will do the starting windows screen and then BSOD or it will let me in for about 5 minutes then BSOD. so right now im in safe mode with networking and nothing has crashed help me please. normally it crashes by going a little bit fuzzy then the screen goes black and then it just BSOD's. it doesnt say "if this is the first time you have seen this error then" it says something else and i cant boot up normally HELP ME!
@bero231 Yes because that can be a virus or some sort of adware. Any type of hardware can cause blue screens. Hal.ddl is a file that comes with the operating system. "Short for Hardware Abstraction Layer, HAL is an operating system programming layer that enables the operating system to operate with a hardware device. hal.dll is the dynamic link library file that implements the functionality of HAL." you don't want to worry too much about that file because as part of the operating system.
ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+1e443 fffff800`02c16000 fffff800`031f3000 0x005dd000 0x4a5bc600 Microsoft® Windows® Operating System NT Kernel & System 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255) Microsoft Corporation C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
My problem is this driver ntoskrnl.exe if anyone know the solution please reply me !
@sundar2893 ntoskrnl.exe is type of service that is responsiable "memory management" which include things like your RAM & Hard drive. You wana check your RAM first. You can do that by installing "memtest" software then booting your computer form thr memtest software which will check your RAM for errors. You can also try removing the physical slots of RAM to see if there is an issue with physical RAM.
my laptop wont start up because of the blue screen and it gives me a message that it tries to autorepair but it wont be repaired. it wont let me do anything.
@Russiangrenade7 If you can't login normally you can try booting computer from safe mode. If safe mode don't work aswell then you will need to do a clean installation of operating system but if you can even do that then you have problem with your hard drive. (watch my NEW video about blue screen for more information)
@AvnitRag watch my new video please caz I can't write everything to you through youtube. The new video wil help or answer mos to of your question, after that I'll help.
@KjvYaBoyIsHere Watch the new video on my channel about blue screen which has 2 parts to it. In it i explain things in more details pluse i go through a real example. after that if you don't understand i'll be happy to help. By the way there is nothing in minidump folder because its likely that the problem is listed on the blue screen error its self and so you won't see anything on mindump folder.

i just built my new computer and don't have any drivers installed. i just installed windows 7 and i am getting this blue screen. i can't install the drivers because the computer shuts down before i can. any help?
camocommander321 2 days ago
@camocommander321 In your case i would go through all the different components of your computer and check each one to make sure they are compatible of working with each other. You should have done this before you started to make your PC but in case you haven't you need to do it now. After that go to safe mode with networking and try installing drivers or software in there and also have look at your bluescreenview to see what could be the problem.
InternetFree 1 day ago
@InternetFree i am sure that all the parts are compatible with each other and working properly, but i don't have internet on that computer yet. i have the installation discs for the drivers, but when i try to run them in safe mode it doesn't work.
thanks
camocommander321 1 day ago
@camocommander321 Erm not sure, i mean if you can't install something off CD/DVD then i would check your driver for your CD/DVD (it comes pre installed) or check the actually hardware of CD/DVD R/W. If everything else if fine try installing drivers from internet if you can connect to internet and also may ask, the drivers that you have on your CD/DVD are those your drivers? or are these these the drivers that came with the product when you bought the different parts for you PC.?

i just downloadet amd overdrive and got blue screen and when i start my pc in 10 sec blue screen, and in safe mode i cant delete the motherfucking file ! plz help!
FyrworksG 5 days ago
@FyrworksG erm not sure what the overdrive is but you can try and do a system restore? if that doesn't work, you can try using a system restore or something similar disk to restore the setting back to original or just override it with another driver from their website.
InternetFree 5 days ago
well, there are two reasons shown by the BlueScreenView.... one is 'ntoskrnl.exe+705c0' and the second is 'netbt.sys' ...... plz suggest me some ways to resolve these....... m fed up with this BSOD.......... it happens again and agian within a couple of hours......

MIproductions1000 1 week ago
@MIproductions1000 are you using a laptop? if so then the problem could be your network adapters driver. check to see what adapter your running then go to their website and update your driver see if that helps.

hi, i have a registry error bsod, i used bluescreen view and it says its caused by driver ntkrnlpa.exe; how do i fix this??
Thanks
OPHTT 2 weeks ago in playlist More videos from InternetFree
@OPHTT well "ntkrnlpa.exe" is responsible for managing with your memory so i would first look at the hard drive then RAM. for the hardware find out its make and then download a diagnosis tool from the manufactures website and run it on hard drive to look for errors. Similar thing can be done with the RAM by installing "memtest" and running it to look for errors. Depending on what you find one of them might be the problem.

813FROST813 1 month ago
@813FROST813 If thats the case then watch my new BSOD videos on my channel, where i show you the 2 main types of blue screens, One that creates minidump folder and the other one that dosn't.
InternetFree 1 month ago
@InternetFree damn it. thanks anyway but it didnt really help me. heres what happen with my pc. like a month ago it froze so we restarted it and it gave the blue screen each time we started it up. so it wouldnt even go to the desk top. so then i reformatted the pc. i downloaded this game i ALWAYS use to play perfect world international and it installed with no issues and as soon as i open it blue screen (error code always diff) and i have re-installed all of my hardware. so idk what to do :\
813FROST813 1 month ago
@813FROST813 Look at your hard drive make, then go to that manufactures website and download utility for hard drive diagnoses. Once you run it see what you find, if you find errors such as bad sectors then that could be the problem. You can either then replace your hard drive or use it as normal..but you might have problems with it later on. Also just listen to the hard drive when its on, it shouldn't be making any screeching noises, if it is then its not good :( and will need replacing.
InternetFree 1 month ago
@InternetFree it sometimes makes the noises when i am starting it up. not so much of a screeching noise. anyway ima juat go 2 a pc shop and get a upgrade and a serves its parts are a little out dated now. but i think its an issue with my graphics card. Nividia 8600 GT
813FROST813 1 month ago
@813FROST813 oh if you get Nvidia card then you are most likely to run into different types of problems..These cards are good but there are soo many problems with them especially when it comes to playing different games. Well gl on the service and upgrade.

MisterDude9800 1 month ago
@MisterDude9800 ok thats good. If you have problem with memory management it means that the problem is somewhere in your RAM or your Hard Drive. For the RAM download a free software called "memtest" to check your memory for errors, and for hard drive download software from the hard drives makes website and run that on your hard drive to check for errors. Hope that helps.

MisterDude9800 1 month ago
@MisterDude9800 Look at the all the files that was the problem, like if you have multiple blue screens then look at all of them and just tell me the files names Or just send me the minidump folder and i'll have a look. To be honest i'm not sure my self what "xNtKrnl.exe" is but it looks like a system file and is unlikely the problem.

SupHandFire 1 month ago
@SupHandFire Not quite sure what you mean. If you can't login in normally then go in to your computer using safe mode. Once inside your PC in safe mode have a look at your "minidump" folder and see what could have caused the blue screen. Once you know where the problem is, you can then go and eliminate the problem and hopefully fix the blue screen.
InternetFree 1 month ago
It wont let me go to safe mode, and if i do, it only shows a black screen with random letters, then after that it goes to blue screen of death.

Also my blue screen is just blank, with no writing whatsoever :s
aviBlud 2 months ago
@aviBlud Well if its USB for wifi then it might be over heating, but if its your hard drive then revert or restore your hard drive back to its original settings see if that fixes it? @InternetFree Thank you for your reply! I was incredibly stupid...I configured my XBOX with my External Hardrive (Freecom, memory stick) and it said Microsoft on it!

MsMe712 2 months ago
@MsMe712 Yeah :( the only two ways you can get in either normal or using the safe mode method, if either of them don't it means there is something major missing (files) or that your hard drive is dead and so OS won't start. The only other thing left to do is either try repairing the OS (hardly ever work) or you can just do a clean installation of windows.

brooky360 2 months ago
@brooky360 On my channel I have another video with 2 parts, Watch it and you will see that there are 2 types of blue screens, one where there is noting in minidump folder another where there is the blue screen inside the minidump folder. If you dont have anything in minudmp folder then you need to take picture or record your monitor when you get blue screen because on the blue screen it will list the driver that's causing the problem.(if you confused just refer to my new BSOD vid)
InternetFree 2 months ago
@GoofClownHead Well the ones you listed, are system files which do different things, try and find something that is NOT part of your operating system, such as a driver you have download, or a driver used by any hardware on your PC because if you think about it the problem can't be system files Unless you have virus or you deleted or manipulated system files in anyway. From what you told me, I would suggest you check your RAM with "memtest" and also run diagnostics on your hard drive.

@InternetFree: I can't boot into windows, I receive BSOD even in safe-mode. I think it's a driver that is causing the problem, but because I can't boot into W7, I can't uninstall that driver.
Any idea how can I uninstall a driver if I can't access windows?
Thanks
drpascu 3 months ago
@drpascu Well if you can't even get into your computer through safe mode then I don't think its a driver. The only other way to get is to do a fresh clean install of windows 7. You will need windows 7 on a CD/DVD disk then just reboot computer, inset disk then format drive and install windows. (you will lose everything on your hard drive).

when i get the BSOD, i tried to restart my computer and i get the message "error has occured press ctrl+alt+del to restart" is that normal?
extremebrisk1 3 months ago
@extremebrisk1 Nah, that's not normal, usually if you get BSOD, it just dies and you have to restart it or the computer restarts itself. ctrl+alt+del is a security feature that prevents virus from spreading in your computer (not 100% sure). If you can access your computer run anti virus scan just to make sure computer isn't infected, and by the way you can get blue screen if you have some sort of virus aswell.
InternetFree 3 months ago
@InternetFree Is there anyway I could fix this? and could you give me a link toa a anti-virus? :D
extremebrisk1 3 months ago
@extremebrisk1 I'm not sure about fixing because i don't know the problem and you want a link for anti virus which suggests that you don't have anti virus?? Just download a free anti virus software such as AVG or Avast. I personally use Avast its good enough.

@VHEME78 If that's the case then you can do a clean installation of your windows operating system. MrFreshouse 4 months ago
InternetFree 4 months ago
@InternetFree Yes, thanks, but, how to get the BlueScreen cuase it haven't a certain time to be shown... ( for example: i was on google chrome when the BSOD showed up suddenly!!! )
So, my question is: How to make BSOD to be shown again, to have the possibility to take a picture of it ???!
MrFreshouse 4 months ago
@MrFreshouse Ah that's one of the things you have to find out. Like I mentioned in the new video, I talk about finding a pattern in your blue screen occurrence. Like do you get blue screen everything you open Google chrome? or when you a play a specific game? or when you listening to music? or when you play a movie? etc etc. It's one of the things you will start to see if you keep getting blue screens.
InternetFree 4 months ago
Just had a BAD BSOD! Basically, was playimg a game as normal on my new pc (only 2/3 days old) and then randomly BSOD happened. I restarted it ask, but I can't enter the windowsn, it doesn't let it. Some another blue screan error appears and restarts the computer. Tried to system restore and what now, nothing helped. Had to reinstall windows to get it working, but now I'm worried it might happen again on a new comp. Anyone got any clue what it could be and what should I do? :S
Inf3ct3d92 4 months ago
@Inf3ct3d92 Well if your computer is custom built then it's very likely that one of your components is incompatible and is unable to work properly with other components. Like you said you had to do a clean install to even get into windows clearly suggest problem is on your hardware side. Remember I'm just throwing this out there, of-course I don't know anything about your computer. Next time you get blue screen just look at it and see why you got the blue screen. Like it will say the file name.
InternetFree 4 months ago
@InternetFree Yeah it's custom built by a website, the shouldn't really allow hardware which wont be compatable with eachother. Plus a lot of friends got it from there and never had problems. I will got 3 years warrenty, just annoying, still annoying that already got a problem with my pc. Will a BSOD be a good reason to send it back to get Gpu or what ever replaced? Could be due to a low PSU? like its only 500w and I'm suing 6 core AMD and a GeForce 560 ti? That was the lowest psu site alloud
Inf3ct3d92 4 months ago

ThePoladov 4 months ago
@ThePoladov To be honest that is one of the problems I'm finding very hard to understand.. But from what i'v heard about this so far the problem is either that your computer is over-heating..so you computer shuts it down then restarts it, I had VERY similar problem on my laptop which i later found to be from over heating. The second thing is that you have problem with your Battery if your using laptop as it wares off over time..if its desktop then battery can't be the problem.
InternetFree 4 months ago
@InternetFree Yeah I am using laptop. and you are RIGHT. And my battery is too low right now. I mean it takes 30 minutes max. so what I have to do ? if I change the battery is this problem solved ? but without battery I use the laptop. it is also shuts it down then restarts it. :(
ThePoladov 4 months ago
@ThePoladov Laptop batteries wares of after about 1 year time. Now your battery might be fine or it might not be, and i have no idea how to test it. The other major problems with laptops is over-heating. You want to check your computer and see the amount of heat it creates. You can isntall some tools which will measure the tempreture of your CPU for example. Just move the back side of your hand to where the heat comes from your laptop and see if its too hot not.
InternetFree 4 months ago
@ThePoladov Most cases when computer get too hot, the power supply shuts power down to the computer to prevent it from over-heating. I think something similar is happening to your laptop, because if you had a problem i.e. with one of the components inside your computer then your computer should shut down straight away not after using it for an hour or 45min if you know what i mean?
InternetFree 4 months ago
@InternetFree thank's a lot for your attention. I really appreciate...

grande2195 4 months ago

Hochichin 4 months ago
@Hochichin When you get a problem treat it as a simple problem and it will actually become simple. Now if you get Blue screens, like I stated in my new BSOD video there are two types of blue screen one where it will tell you which file/driver is causing the BSOD while the other one will simply make a minidump folder in you C drive. Have look your C drive see if you got a minidump folder or not then if you haven't then you will need to take picture of blue screen when it occurs.

Most of mine are ntoskrnl.exe (NT kernel & system)
But how do you remove the driver?
Rightnut20 4 months ago
@Rightnut20 ntoskrn.exe is system file/files that is responsible for managing your memory in your computer. So it would include your two main types of memory which includes your RAM and Hard drive. I would suggest first testing your RAM, by installing "memtest" then burning the memtest to CD/DVD then boot computer from memtest and let it scan all of your RAM. Once that's done you can go ahead and test your hard aswell. Let me know how it goes.
InternetFree 4 months ago
@BleuTech I just got the bsod and my minidump folder is empty too. I did a little bit of research and realized that it's empty because I used ccleaner right after the bsod. Not sure if you did the same but that can possibly be why its empty.
Sounditoutahhwet 4 months ago
@Sounditoutahhwet ye that can be, but remember there are 2 main types of blue screens, one where the physical memory is stored in a minidump folder and the other where no information is stored BUT it tells you on the actual blue screen which files or driver has caused the blue screen. triple3h333 5 months ago

@Dubstep2011Uk to be honest with you I have no idea why or what that name is. What you need to do is try and open it and try and access the blue screens in the folder. I don't understand what you have problem with.
InternetFree 5 months ago
@InternetFree is that a bad thing ? coz ive only had my pc 3-4 months and its been accouring a while it happens when i start up sometimes then after a while of restarting my pc it works then its fine entil i turn it off again then it will sometimes accour again.
Dubstep2011Uk 5 months ago
@Dubstep2011Uk yeah its not good unless its something YOU done that has made your computer get blue screens or crashes. I can't explain things here so watch my new video about blue screen and try and follow the steps to get closer to the source of the problem. so yeah just check out my new video which has 2 parts to it and I explain things in details while going through an example of solving a blue screen.

@InternetFree right i found out what file caused it with the blue screen program this is the program it found - ntoskrnl.exe - should i delete it?
Dubstep2011Uk 5 months ago
@Dubstep2011Uk No don't delete it because it won't do you or the computer any good. The file "ntoskrnl.exe" is basically a file responsible for dealing with your computers memory. So to narrow things down your problem is either in your hard drive or your RAM, please note that it can sometimes be memory of your graphic card as-well. Like I said refer to the new blue screen video it will answer most of the questions. The if you still need help I'll help.

hal.dll ??? what does that means...
bero231 5 months ago
Can a Trojan.Gen.2 cuz that....
bero231 5 months ago
@bero231 Yes because that can be a virus or some sort of adware. Any type of hardware can cause blue screens. Hal.ddl is a file that comes with the operating system. "Short for Hardware Abstraction Layer, HAL is an operating system programming layer that enables the operating system to operate with a hardware device. hal.dll is the dynamic link library file that implements the functionality of HAL." you don't want to worry too much about that file because as part of the operating system.

My problem is this driver ntoskrnl.exe if anyone know the solution please reply me !
sundar2893 5 months ago
@sundar2893 ntoskrnl.exe is type of service that is responsiable "memory management" which include things like your RAM & Hard drive. You wana check your RAM first. You can do that by installing "memtest" software then booting your computer form thr memtest software which will check your RAM for errors. You can also try removing the physical slots of RAM to see if there is an issue with physical RAM.

my laptop wont start up because of the blue screen and it gives me a message that it tries to autorepair but it wont be repaired. it wont let me do anything.
Russiangrenade7 5 months ago
@Russiangrenade7 If you can't login normally you can try booting computer from safe mode. If safe mode don't work aswell then you will need to do a clean installation of operating system but if you can even do that then you have problem with your hard drive. (watch my NEW video about blue screen for more information)

KjvYaBoyIsHere 6 months ago
@KjvYaBoyIsHere Watch the new video on my channel about blue screen which has 2 parts to it. In it i explain things in more details pluse i go through a real example. after that if you don't understand i'll be happy to help. By the way there is nothing in minidump folder because its likely that the problem is listed on the blue screen error its self and so you won't see anything on mindump folder.
