@rjohson Everything is made of light-- light can store or express momentum. If you were a particle you could stand still in time wile you also remain moving in time simultaneously. You are made of LOTS of particles though so some stick in time and some move forward and some do both.
@rjohson My speculation is that this unique feature of matter has more to do with memory and logic functions within the brain than anything exotic. I'm not omitting anomalies/evolution but I just don't think the average mind (like mine) has developed enough hardware to be used in that way. There is no reason our minds, which are literally composed of consciousness suspended in energy, have developed the right features to do that yet (or the features are very nascent)...although some people..
When I was 20 I knew intuitively that time is not part of space. It took me 32 years to understand rationally that according to mathematical formalism X4 = ict time is numerical order of photon motion in 4D space.
How can you guys mix science with religion? These fields are far away from each other.
Science works and explains everything, whereas religion keeps failing. Science is not a theory, but a fact. Religion is the simplest and easiest way to say that you actually don't want to understand the world around you.

@timothypatricklarkin Yes, yes it does. They evolved as means to help develop a cohesive social structure as we needed to work together with other humans to survive in prehistoric times.

@Nmal015 If you have proof that apes turned into men, then you should notify the scientific community. Evolution is an old idea that's been around for at least 2100 years, probably much longer. Vitruvius was an architect in ancient Rome in 60 BC. He referred to men as being wild beasts before they made the first hut. See his Ten Books of Architecture Book 2, Chapter 1
Get a qualification, write a paper disproving the mountains of evidence for evolution, get it peer reviewed then published. Otherwise stop spreading ignorance, pretending you have a clue what you are talking about and go back to church.

It has been many years since I had this book, but I think it will be along the lines of Hinduism and physics, but moe related to Taoism. which in the end are really the same thing. All faiths teach one basic truth that is often misinterpreted. All faiths have the same core teaching, it's all the stuff added on around that which differentiate those faiths.
Author is F. Capra, and the book is crap, unless you are interested in feeling smart and not in truth. Which, of course, describes the vast majority of our rather disappointing species.
