I'm not a Nightwishfan anyway. I think it's not easy for Anette to be the new singer. She is not Tarja and I guess she knows that. It is not her fault, that Tarja left Nightwish and if the band chose her as new vocalist everyone has to accept it. I understand that it sucks for fans, but still...

The whole point of Nightwish is to be authentic... I love Tarja's accent... I love accents period! Are you one of those "Speak english or die!" kind of people? That's retarded. Accents are beautiful. I'd rather hear "WEESHMAASTOOR!!!" than "Weeyeshmaaster!" anyday, referring to her american-ish drawl accent.

Tarja is, in all essence, the beauty of northern Europe. If you can't handle that, then go listen to something ridiculous and horrid such as Slipknot or Cannibal Corpse.

It is very different, and yes it is in a lower key, but I think that the main thing is that I can now understand most of the words! They sound very solid to me, and relaxed. Sounds good. Just different.

I have music studies and I think she sings great in the old songs. I like her voice much more than Tarja's, she feels what she sings and tells a story. 'Sacrament of Wilderness' sung by Anette is my all time favourite Nightwish song, and I never payed attention to it with Tarja.

I never liked Wishmaster too, but this perfomance from Anette is horrible, she sings like a boy. Her voice is so comercial and buuuh, I don't know, don't feel emotion with her voice, I prefer a soprano for Nightwish. Sincerely Anette isn't the singer that Nightwish needs.

If you people think the song great on this recording, multiply it 10 times and you get the awesomeness of it when you're actually *there*. You could barely hear Anette during the chorus because of the crowd totally screaming the lyrics along. Go Anette!
