John Tracy once spoke about student equality, saying schools should be neutral ground for people of all political and *religious* beliefs.
However, he has also mentioned that " I do think religion — particularly Judeo-Christian beliefs — is a huge part of what we are today. I think it’s wrong for us to sweep that under the rug.”
I think that speaks for itself. For there to be religious freedom, the schools must remain secular, not promoting one belief over another. He has different plans.

A classic example of someone prepared to violate the separation of church and state:
Tracy said voters could expect him to consider all issues from his world view — that of a Baptist pastor who believes in the Bible.
Not necessarily a problem, until he mentioned...
Offering alternatives to teaching evolution in science, and contends that the role of religion in U.S. history must be presented accurately.
For the good of the school system, pass on John Tracy.
