I find the way she holds her arms in the pirouette/fouetté strangely angular. Does anybody know if it's the style of a particular school or technique?
her turns are really freakin amazing but the only good thing about her. not sure why she's a principal, her dancing leaves a lot left to be desired. she is so boring to watch, it always seems like her heart isn't in it and her mind is somewhere else when she's on stage.
@reginaholic Well she would'nt normally do this one move over and over agaain,some people have sais she looks distracted.I have seen her in an entire ballet,have you?.She is a talented dancer and deserves her position in the company.
carlos acosta does loads of pirouettes too but not many people call him/that boring...
her centre is amazing, and she is so strong to be able to sometimes just pull herself up on her leg after she has gone off a bit. i get easily bored with ballet technique but i would watch tamara rojo a thousand times over than mr acosta...
don't take me wrong, i find ballet very tedious and boring too when it is only technique, which is what my comment was directed at. i leave if i see a performance and all i get is pirouettes and big jumps and nothing from the neck up...tamara's technique is amazing but she has the acting as well and therefore i will gladly sit and watch whenever she dances :)) who wants to see a robot turn?
Although she's one of my favourite dancers, I have always admired her for her spins and supreme balance.

her turns are super impressive, but over all, after seeing her live, I find her a really borring dancer overall.
And well, her foettés to the left side are not so good, that´s why she doesn´t do them unless she´s injuried

ballet is boring for people who don't know much about it (it's like a good wine), for us dancers it's the best thing in the world
