  • Stupid fucking haters clearly don't know who atom heart is. Uwe Schmidt is pure genius. No fucking doubting that.

  • little boots do it BETTER

  • ive never seen these things before...what the heck are they and what do they do?

  • @XRIVAL360

its a MIDI controller you use it to make music by itself or use it with a computer to control effects

  • COCONUT THE BEST!!!

    CHEERS FROM CHILE

  • Senor Coconut. Atom Whatever he is the man, no question about it.

  • there is certainly rhythm in this song, but not the boring, usual rhythm as all pop songs etc. Listen to his albums.. he is a musical genius. I'm glad there are still some experimental artists.

  • @Tranenmeer yousaid it

  • yeah right, those rhythms are dope, highly complex and syncopated. if you're used to only hearing 4/4 beats or pop music, then you probably dont like rhythmic creativity and syncopation. this is the same concept behind jazz drumming but done with electronics.

  • @MosesHightower this is in 4/4 tho.. but i get what your saying lol

  • @itsthataznkid34 - true, it's just that when people refer to 4/4 in dance music it means 4 on the floor, meaning just a straight kick, like house or techno.

  • @MosesHightower Every track on this clip is in 4/4 timing. It's the accents that are non-mainstream pop.

  • @KOTARE33 - to reiterate what i already said below in a previous response, i was using 4/4 to describe "4 on the floor" - a term used to describe dance beats w/ a straight kick like house/techno/trance/etc. the timing of the track has nothing to do with whether it's pop or not. there are plenty of other music styles that use 4/4 timing. there has never been anything close to pop using these types of rhythms. they are IDM beats and much more akin to hip hop than pop.

  • @MosesHightower Yep. Look, I am not trying to bum you out. I am trying save you some embarrassment in the future when you are talking with som0e music idol and you show your lack of rudimentary knowledge regarding time signatures. 4/4 just means measures of four bars containing four beats. It doesn't mean four on the floor in any way, even though four on the floor CAN be a part of 4/4 timing. So don't use 4/4 to mean four on the floor - else every literate musician will be confused.

  • @KOTARE33 - you're totally right. i should have said "4/floor" as that was what i was thinking & also what i meant. in trying to abbreviate "4 on the floor" i wrote the wrong thing. i do realize accents & signatures are not the same. sorry for the confusion & wasted comments - my bad.

  • @MosesHightower When you talk about four on the floor you are talking about accents, in this case where the kick accents in the measure. Cool - we learn something every day.

  • I can't believe how ignorant some people can be. Just because you don't know this artifact or this artist or this style of music don't gives you the right to say such a stupid things. Try to let fly the imagination, buddy...

  • back to blockflöte...

    schnarch

  • 10000 th view! cool that s 16 in binary !

  • Wow, this guy is great!...
