if you take the time to drill down through the DoT's statistics you'll find most rtc's occur in built up areas, usually where local councils have been sufficiently concerned to employ traffic calming measures. We are all well used to Clarkson clowning around at lethal speeds on ( thankfully ) foreign motorways, it's sad to see autoexpress regard jumping speed calming humps at 30 as a desirable feature. 3,000 people a year die on British roads, that's more important than the state of your coke..

@Gators9518 tectincally no as it does nor really share anything with the explorer eg has a different platform, engines and electronics plus the explorer takes its cues from the 2008 ford explorer concept rather then the range rover lrx which are two different coneepts. if anything the ford explorer took styling cues from the lrx which the evoque is based since the lrx was designed way before the 2011 ford explorer.

the citroen on the grass bit was kind of pointless just by the setup of a eurobox hot hatch. one thing holding me back from buying this car would be that its styled exactly like the new ford explorer here in the united states. ford sold off land rover years ago but still seems to be pulling some strings behind the scenes.
