This is the part in Crysis 2 that I always use to test the CPU/GPU performance too!! hahaha. Thanks for the video, I have a 6950 card too, but I have a slower CPU (Athlon II x2 250) and I was just planning to buy this same CPU. The difference is noticeable... when you are getting 41 FPS I am getting 30 FPS. I also have my card unlocked shaders only. Thank again!!
I love this build because of its price, and am thinking of doing this, who can pass up this phenom at $110. Anyways, how long do you think the computer will be able to keep up with modern games. Will I be able to play on the 955 and 6950 for 2 years? thanks:)
@WeirdisInteresting I just finished Portal 2 and I'm currently playing Metro and Crysis, there's no artifacts.
But I didn't flash it to 6970, I just unlocked shaders and everything else is same as 6950. I just modified my original BIOS to unlock shaders, extra shaders are locked via BIOS and thay are functional.
Most of people that get artifacts are getting them because they flashed 6970 BIOS and memory voltage and timings are not same.
@grizlithebear would the "be quiet pure power bqt l7-530w" powerfull to run your RIG? ^^

@nashismox3 No, im not using the stock cooler. I'm using an closed loop liquid cooling radiator very similar to the H70.
