  • To be known is to be loved, and to be loved is to be known <3

  • So powerful! :D

  • Awesome. I'm sharing this with a small group on living missionally.

  • i had tears in my eyes as i watched this. it is so true that Jesus knows us - to be known is to be loved - and He loves us. Just as we are.

  • @redeemed0204 But in todays society woman wear jeans or dress pants. My mom said she went to a Christian school ( I forget the Denomination) shes still a godly woman but she doesnt even touch a dress unless its for a formal event because the school forced her to wear a dress every day. I know we need to abide by the Laws of the Lord our God but he's given Us Free will hasn't he?

  • This is epic.

  • nice

  • love this

  • YES!

  • This is a great video! Writers, actress, camera folks and editing crew; all very good. Thanks a bunch.

  • Is a script of this available for purchase?

  • A wonderful video!

  • @Pullmanfan7 there is proof of this too, Jesus rose on the third day people wittenessed that he had come back. A zombie has no soul, but when the Christ came back He was talking, living, breathing, eating. You can read it in Mark 16 and Luke 24 read the whole thing if you want. Also just because He accended into heaven does not mean that He died in the process... He is still alive... :)

  • @Pullmanfan7 no because Jesus isn't the living dead... He is living... He may not be physically in front of you to see but Jesus is certainly alive... :)

  • pass the kleenex please

  • 18 people dont know what to be loved or known feels like

  • Love it (: smile girl

  • This aggravates me.

  • @ShaayRose1 why?

  • Who is She? She's So Good.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!

  • i love this so much and watch ot over and over, and have even used in worship i lead and people have been honestly blown away, i know there has been no activity since 06 but please do more...

  • @Pullmanfan7 ... This video may be a "modernized" version of the bible passage but all that means is, its just a different way to translate it... So ya it should be as if Christ were alive because Christ was ALIVE then... And the way I believe as a christian, He still is alive...

  • @MaidenofChrist16 Wouldn't it be quicker to just say "Jesus is a zombie"?

  • I really love this. Thank you so much for posting it.

  • I don't even have the words to say how much this monologue means to me. So powerful. <3

  • This is a great video! So inspiring. People will comment and say what they wish, but that doesn't change the fact that Jesus saves. "faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see." -Hebrews 11:1

  • jghjhj

  • you are speaking to my soul

  • This is beautiful

  • love this , its so true and so touching

  • What does a microphone doing in the kitchen ?

  • Amazing.

  • I was not looking for this video, but stumbled across it.

    Wow. Excellent. Impacting.

  • "the man of little reputation"

  • @Pullmanfan7 then don't watch it.

  • @juliete3d Good advice; that's what I'm telling other people too

  • @Pullmanfan7

If your eyes were too busy judging this video to simply look at the description, I'd push you to remember that this isn't a 'meaningless' monologue for a man who has been legitimately dead for 2000 years, its an interpretation of what the woman at the well in John 4:3-30 would have said if she was speaking in a modern dialect.

And as for the repetition of the mantra and how she does not know Jesus, yet he knows her, is simply a statement about how she feels he knows all.

  • @NazRockProductions Um, sorry, I guess I shouldn't watch the video and spend the whole time looking at the description?

I have good reason to think that the interpreter or reciter firmly believes that Jesus is, in fact, still alive, and that you'll comment on here in her defense suggests that you do as well. And it absolutely is a meaningless, absurd and obnoxious piece of work no matter where it came from.

  • @Pullmanfan7 Please explain how this is 'obnoxious' ?

  • @Explain how any video, particularly a rant, is obnoxious and I need only copy and paste your answer. I stand by my first comment.

  • @Pullmanfan7 your problem.

  • @jameswb333333 I'm okay with that.

  • God knows everything about you, and he still loves you. For to be known is to be loved and to be loved is to be known.

  • thanks a lot

  • That is a great video and it speaks to me because I am a gay man

  • @leewilson2009 I don't believe that is what that video is talking about

  • I hope you post more videos

  • This is beautiful, I love it!!

  • tears

  • Love it. So uplifting and inspirational. Thanks..

  • I remember seeing this at Student Life 4 1/2 years ago. Very powerful.

  • Only a women can talk for 2 minutes straight.

  • I love this!

  • noob

  • Thank you for posting. This was really inspirational

  • lacatuscovalschi and dark18dean18jasper, unfortunately you are both wrong.

The Pope did not change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. That was Emperor Constantine, in his process of legalizing Christianity.

You cannot say the Pope is the antichrist, because there have been many popes. In the 800s when rich families elected the Pope, the men they chose were generally not the most spiritually deserving people. It took a few decades to reform the office of the Pope. God Bless Pope Benedict XVI!

  • OMG I CRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • this was made amazingly, and inspired by such a great story. jesus is great :)

  • Fantastic!!!!

  • wow. amazing! i love it.. so awesome..

  • Reminds me of Shakespeare. To be known is to be loved and to be loved is to be know.

  • excellent,

  • The Pope is the anti Christ, he changed the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday, he claimed God gave him this right. Daniel said the anti Christ would think to change Gods times and laws. The pope burned and tortured millions of Christians, Daniel said the anti Christ would kill Gods saints and overpower them. The pope came out of the divided Roman empire and called himself God and the vicar of Christ. Daniel said the anti Christ would exault himself as high as JESUS the anointed one.

  • @lacatuscovalschi wow... interesting take on history and theology. "Called himself God"? Oh, my

  • @lacatuscovalschi uh the first pope was Peter, the line of pope is longer than you understand. the pope is chosen by God as a guide, a pastor, a shepard to help lead Gods people just as Peter and Paul did centruries ago. The pope does not annoint himself as high as Jesus as no one rightly should instead he has devoted his whole life to Jesus, and to leading his people. And the changing a the day of the Sabbath if you read 1 Corinthians had already changed to Sunday in the time of Paul.

  • wow. powerful. wow.

  • love this!!!

  • I love this. I get to perform it for my youth group. I'm so nervous because it is such a powerful monologue and I don't want to mess it up.

  • Well done, great message, awesome actress, unbelievable editing. Oh, by the way...I liked it! B.J.

  • Beautiful update to the story!

  • amazingggg we need more vedios from u

  • powerful.

  • LOVE IT - it's awesome when someone puts something from God's Word into modern language or feel. This was wonderful writing - thank you to whoever is responsible.

  • It is clear that she is coming to Christ, inviting him in and requests to develope in relationship with him. She is laying her pains before Jesus, talking to him, commiting herself to him. Beautiful.

This video is amazing and certainly captures the scripture in a fresh way!!

  • To Mugaliens: She doesn't want to be accepted IN her sin, she wants to be accepted DISPITE her sin. She repents in the video. You can't repent before Jesus accepts you into his presence in prayer, of course Jesus accepts everyone to come to him - that's the whole point, she is amazed by this and can't believe Jesus wants to accept her! She in no way implies that she doubts the Son of God being able to know her through her toils, I don't understand how you could come to such a conclusion.

  • "Go and sin no more?"

  • I think the difference between you and the woman at the well is that the woman at the well was repentant of her sin, of which Jesus said, "go, and sin no more." Your desire is to be accepted in your sin..

  • If this isn't true, if you do not want to be accepted in your sin, then Jesus would delight in you turning from your sin!

But if you want to sin and be accepted by Jesus, then the one who is without sin...

  • I dare not speak for him. He spoke for himself at the woman at the wel when he said, "go, and sin no more."

  • As for Jesus knowing you - do you doubt the Son of God being able to know you through all your toils?

  • Of course Jesus saw you through you, heart to heart, balls to bones. He loved you through and through, whether you saw it, felt it, or not. He simply said, "Go, and sin no more."

  • Condemnation is the result of what we choose to do, not the result of who we are.

It is a choice - all you are and who you could be. Lay your pain on the cross.

    Be clean. And move on.

  • amzing :)

  • Wow! Amazing!

  • this ia such an amazing monologue, its just amazing.....we can really learn from this...i was astonished now i love watching this

  • can someone please please find me the lyrics to this monologue ?

  • " When Lao-tzu says All are clear, I alone am clouded, he is expressing what I now feel in advanced old age. Lao-tzu is the example of a man with superior insight who has seen and experienced worth and worthlessness, and who at the end of his life desires to return into his own being, into the eternal unknowable meaning.

    Memories, Dreams, Reflections. C.G. Jung

  • "Probably, as in all metaphysical questions, both are true: Life is- or has meaning and meaninglessness. I cherish the anxious hope that meaning will preponderate and win the battle."

    Memories, Dreams, Reflections. C.G. Jung

  • " The world into which we are born is brutal and cruel, and at the same time of divine beauty. Which element we think outweighs the other, whether meaninglessness or meaning, is a matter of temperament. If meaninglessness were absolutely preponderant, the meaningfulness in life would vanish to an increasing degree with each step in our development. But that is or seems to me not the case.

  • I have no definite convictions not about anything, really. I know only that I was born and exist, and it seems to me that I have been carried along. I exist on the foundation of something I do not know. In spite of all uncertainties, I feel a solidity underlying all existence and a continuity in my mode of being."

    Memories, Dreams, Reflections. C.G. Jung

  • I am astonished, disappointed, pleased with myself. I am distressed, depressed, rapturous. I am all these things at once, and cannot add up the sum. I am incapable of determining ultimate worth or worthlessness; I have no judgement about myself and my life. There is nothing I am quite sure about."
