Nope, you wouldn't, people often claim that but its all about design it uses universal rules of human behaviour. It's insane to watch though...it just works sooo well.
what if there was a tipsy driver who didnt realize he was coming up to an intersection?

I've lived in the Netherlands for most of my life and I've spent some time in LA. In my experience, LA traffic is more polite than dutch traffic.
