I love these antweight melees- they're simultaneously awesome, hilarious and adorable!

But Ante-B is just amazing! Assuming the footage isn't being sped up, it moves and attacks in a BLUR. Given how hard it is to control full sized robots which don't move at a FRACTION of that (relative) speed, the driver must be incredibly skilled to steer with that much accuracy and ferocity!

what is the point of having a hammer/pick axe ant weight? you obviously cant get much force from a quarter ounce hammer.

Axe's work more as grabbing/pinning weapons in the antweight division. For instance, the bloke who built Pants; Pete Collier built another axe bot called Squashy and that had an axe that worked a bit like Razer's beak.

I sucks that they cut out the antweight and featherweight first round melees. They could've shown 2 of the full compatitions in one episode and show the other 2 in another episode. They could've also added Typhoon Lightning in the lightweight battle too.

They DID show the first round melees. They just picked out the best bits to save time, so I'm sure we did't miss anything significant. It wouldn't take up enough time if it was made into 2 episodes. What would be the point of putting Typhoon Lightning in the Lightweight battle anyway? It would probably count as cheating because it would be two robots of the same team against one robot.

And by the way, it's compEtition not compAtition.

Typhoon Lightning being in it would be more interesting, because when the typhoons bash ELP there'll be some fighting between the two which would make it better. And they had to show the finals obviously, but I heard that in the featherweight first rounds, Two of the robots in one melee, Arrgh and Neoterit cause so much destruction, and in another one all the robots end up in the pit and Ref Bot falls in the pit on top of them all. Doesn't that sound like the best?
