  • I talk to animals and people that aren't there but when I tell the doctors they seem to be laughing. But when I see them and talk to them it's like there are really there but then awhile afterwards I realize I need to take my meds again! lol

  • The pills are no problem it's just everyone else stabbing me in the back until I had to seek medication. The bloody pills make me sleep and if I forget to take one then take one in the day to make up for it it ruins the day because I'm falling asleep while people are talking to me.

I forget to take my pills all the time it's like I don't need them but I know I do I just forget about them!

  • god bless you....you're not alone....just take care off yourself try and stay positive :)

    good luck

  • i don't have schizophrenia but i appreciate your words. thank you for sharing.

  • New scientific findings are suggesting that the only people recovering from sz are people that stopped taking the meds or tapered them off and just used therapy. they're neuro-toxic and there's now proof. so thats all I would like to say right now. Good luck guys. Oh and I recommend Any book by Bertram Karon. He's a formidably educated (harvard) psychologist who participated in these new studies and treats people without drugs. It's not a chemical imbalance!

  • when I saw starring rachel star i thought that i was gonna see a big titted porn star! LOL :D

  • i love this video im schizophrenic but ya i have a hard time keeping my thoughts together and i swear someone is out to get me i get made fun of and its just real hard...

  • Thanks for your support rachel.. I have schizophrenia too..thanks for the advice..

  • damn girl! your sexy!

  • I just want to hug you! :)

  • Nice to see someone with Schizophrenia who isn't a circus freak

    You're very beautiful

  • There is totally a differeince between a phycologist and a phyciatrist... i had no idea!

  • One more reason we need Universal Health Care

  • have you ever tried filming your day, and then watching the tape before bed? Or having yourself filmed while you're having halucinations, so you can see it on a screen next to you? Also, are you sometimes aware of it - like being awake in a dream?

  • confusing ass parents=schizophrenia

  • Does your brain turn into goo sometimes? I have schizophrenia, and sometimes my brain turns to goo and I can't stop it from leaking.

  • @ccrauder i've felt that

  • @ccrauder I generally call it being "soup-brained", but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. foggy, sludgy, like there's a break in every membrane, and everything comes in.

  • I'm thinking of making a character with schizophrenia, and your video is very informative. I have Aspergers Syndrome, and I've found out my condition has some similar traits as schizophrenia. I'm just wondering, do schizophrenics get violent meltdowns like how Aspies and autistics have? You know, when your mind can't control your body while it's throwing and breaking things? Then you calm down, horrifed at the damage you caused?

  • @lu4y4pants My head tends to "snap" at times. I can always tell when it's building up to that.

  • @rachelstarlive Islam can explain schizophernia i was diagnosed with it as well but when i became muslim in my heart it went away...what it is when you hear voice you are in tune with the spirit world they are called Jinn the only jinn that communicate with humans are evil jinn you have to seek refuge with the creator because satan only has authority over the disbeliever ....the jinn attack humans and whisper to the heart look up islam and jinn world..and maybe you can see the connection

  • This is all an act, though viewing sex scandal video it is obvious this gal does have some major self- esteem/respect issues. Very sad indeed,

  • You seem so sweet!

  • I have schizophrenia too. I study computer science, go to work and live normal live. Before the therapy the room wobbled, my head was like a radio (I heard voices all the time) and I couldn't concentrate on single conversation when there was more people in place. With pills everything is normal.

  • You make cheap sarcastic you tube vids about life which you so pathetically suck at, this video sucks immensely and so does your buck teeth.

Try getting a job and contributing to society then sitting on you tube and making shitttttttttttttttttttttttttt movies goofball

  • @werrikimbe Someone had a bad day. :P

  • I was wondering if using Niacin (vitamin B3) and Vitamin C in high doses work? Anyone?

  • @melodylemon I've never tried that

  • do you think that perhaps you are seeing things that actually exist........stuff that people without this illness cannot see?

  • @briannacollins44 Yes, structures of visually organized memories and anticipatory creations in the brain. Between the scenery, the eyes, and the visual cortex are glitches (the cause of which is not clearly known, but could be psychosomatic, learned, developed over time out of fear or escapism) that create the appearance of the hallucinations.

  • do you have any imaginary friends caused by schizophrenia? i watched a beautiful mind and sybil and was wondering if those movies portrayed it correctly.

  • @added23 I have never had anything like that. But at times I can hear people calling my name or wishpering.

  • @rachelstarlive oh okay. thanks for answering my question

  • @added23 Sybil isn't schizophrenic, she has dissociative identity disorder (more commonly known as multiple personality disorder).

  • I have schizophernia, and i almost thought i never had it because i started my medication at twelve, i always saw those trail things tho, but recently they have gone away,

  • @MrUtoobWatcher1 mine come and go

  • @MrUtoobWatcher1 Islam can explain schizophernia i was diagnosed with it as well but when i became muslim in my heart it went away...what it is when you hear voice you are in tune with the spirit world they are called Jinn the only jinn that communicate with humans are evil jinn you have to seek refuge with the creator because satan only has authority over the disbeliever ....the jinn attack humans and whisper to the heart look up islam and jinn world..and maybe you can see the connection

  • You can be set free! I promise. No more pills no more harrassment. Call on Jesus He will free you

  • Rachel. You are incredible. Than you sooo much to make the difference to ppl who's suffering the same problem. THAN YOU. You are beautil.

  • Wow, you have an uncanny resemblance to the singer Tori Amos- you are both beauties in every respect! I've been dealing with schizoaffective disorder since I was a child, but I didn't realize until a couple months ago that it had a label. Now, at least, I know what beast I'm fighting. I told my mom as a teen that no matter what was "wrong with me" I would not ever take psych medications. At 23, my auditory hallucinations stopped unexpectedly 2-3 years after starting a gluten-free diet. I'm 30.

  • Can anyone with this disease answer a question I have about it - when a person with schizphrenia is have an auditory or visual hallucination, like hearing voices or seeing ghost trails, are you able to differentiate that it is an hallucination?

  • @liquidgee13 The brain is being tricked when the hallucinations happen. The information the brain is receiving gets distorted, as does perception. Parts of the brain that process input of sensory info (sound, sight, touch, etc) confuse the input with internal thoughts & emotions- the amygdala in a schizophrenic brain (processes fear & the fight or flight response) is hyper sensitized & easily alarmed. As I got older, the easier it was to recognize hallucinations for what they are- brain errors.

  • @valsharai Thanks for the input. That sheds light on to my question.

  • @liquidgee13 I just depends on the person and the hallucination

  • @rachelstarlive

Did you try Dr.Abram Hoffer's recommendation of niacin? It's extremely cheap and very effective at treating schizo according to the research.

  • you're gorgeous. schizophrenia only means your dopamine, glutamate, kyurenic acid and sigma 1 agonists levels are not right. that's it. just a neurotransmitter imbalance. you don't realize how normal schizophrenic people are if you don't know them.

i know what schizophrenia is like, i used to smoke ketamine and it mimics schizophrenia perfectly.

  • @mat5813 Have you seen brain scans of a schizophrenic mind in action? Neurons are firing much more rapidly than the average person's in specific brain regions (middle & back) which makes sense considering that midbrain is where the hypothalamus, hippocampus & amygdala are located & where our left & right sides of hearing meet up, & balance center- also, the vision center is in the back (visual hallucinations). Grey matter is often damaged & neurons in the white matter where they shouldn't be.

  • @valsharai yes, there are structural difference, but you wouldnt notice if the dopamine imbalance in the mesolimbic pathways was so high (with glutamate levels being to low). there may be differences but visual allucinations and delusion are caused by dopamine.

try an IV of ketanest, 1mg/kg, then you'll see how they feel.

  • @mat5813 i use to psychotic from speed its horrible ;(

  • @djparnate you're lucky, with speed all you mimic are the dopamine peaks, at least you have tons of glutamate too and glutamate itself its an antipsychotic. if you ever tried ketamine you know what i mean.

since even weed can be dangerous sometimes, all in all its all about being smart while using drugs.

  • @mat5813 ive never done ketamine m8 ... lol

ive heard about it tho hehehe .... your very educated you m8 on drugs

like me .... respect <3 xxx

  • @djparnate i wanna know what i snort or smoke as deeply as possible. that's how i found out a guy called Manuel Guzman was able to cure 3 rats in his laboratory using THC... and the rats had terminal brain cancer. and how LSD may solve schizophrenia - but this is just a theory.

well don't try high doses of snorted ketamine unless you want a speed psychosis without your brain preventing you from fucking up :)

    respect ;)

  • Rachel, biofeedback can help you. dr. les fehmi. princeton, nj

  • this is realy sad :( i hav severe depression so can kinda relate but on the same hand couldnt imagine what life is like with schitzophrenia. just keep going xx

  • she is hot...wow...I would comfort her all night long!!

  • My dads cousin killed himself for no reason without leaving a note or anything Now I was watching cnn earlyer today and they were talking about this and the symtoms remind me of my dad.1.illusinates VERY often2.says hes sees signs3.my mom told me he turned this way at like 25. He also breaks down crying for no reason and never tells me or my mom why hes crying. I'm asking him tomorrow if this is what he has this

  • That's the bad thing about the american health system unless you have insurance you are left on the street. The government looks after you in australia if you get sick they look after you

  • Go to school in canada, free pills, problem solved.

    I love my country :)

  • I'm an Afghanistan war vet who got back about 2 years ago 3 purple hearts so that tells u it was a bad deployment I got diagnosed with schizo the war messed me up in my mind but as far as daily life I'm ok I hears gun shots sometimes bombs and people talking and look like afghans I would like to talk to people who have this sickness and maybe some advise on how to cope with this

  • @21usarmy21 Well first off thank you for serving. Check some of my other vids on here about my journey with schizo. With in the next 2 weeks I'm going to make a video about ways to cope.

  • This is an important video you've made. I'm a psychology student researching schizophrenia - I wish you all the best.

  • No i dont I'm so sorry.

  • I fucking hate this video.

  • Her parents are so sweet, I'll pray for the 3 of you guys. You guys are dealing with it so well.

  • Rachel I just wanted to thank you so much for making this video. It made me feel less alone. Also to the person that said she's too coherent to have sz; there are a lot of people with sz that are perfectly coherent, especially when they are medicated already. I have sz, am I babbling incoherently?

  • I'm sitting here watching this video. and the whole time I keep thinking that I have a small case of schizophrenia because I experience some of the same things as she does. it doesn't make me feel good

  • Finally someone else who sees ghost trails..

  • shes cute

  • peace = the space between your thoughts

  • you are a really sweet girl for wanting people to know they are not alone thanks!

  • God bless you : )

  • what song is this ... please tell me ! Its so beautiful lol

  • @7topCelebrityzCollab Thank you! I just threw it together with Garageband (music program) loops.

  • Not Schizophrenic at all...speech is coherent and well constructed. She may have Bi-Polar disorder or delusional paranoid personality...

  • @simivalley1908 i agree completely. this is not schizophrenia

  • @simivalley1908 That's only one aspect of schizophrenia. Just because she isn't a textbook case doesn't mean she's not schizophrenic. Also, she noted that she is already on medication, so perhaps that positive symptom is being treated.

  • great video. Thank you for sharing your story.

  • this vid is really informative, thanks for sharing it.

you're so lucky to have such loving, sweet parents ... and they're so lucky to have a compassionate, intelligent daughter like yourself :) keep up the good work, i hope you're doing well!

  • yoUR BRAVE, MY BROTHER HAS SCHIZOPHRENIA, IM SCARED IM GONNA GET IT!

i think my mom does too.. its terrible

  • Beautiful girl!

  • Honey, as someone who has an anxiety disorder, and whose father has schizophrenia...what you describe honestly to me does not sound like schizophrenia. It sounds like some kind of sensory processing disorder, and the "bad thoughts" u describe sound like OCD. Top that off with your insomnia and your emotions are bound to be all over the place. I'm not a dr but pls be careful. Psychiatrists are drug pushers & love diagnosing schizo. I'd consult a more holistic approach if I were you. God bless.

  • @hollybee43 Maybe your dad was misdiagnosed? You're not a doctor, you should not be attempting to analyze people you've never met for your leisure based on one experience. If it were all about the drugs, her psychologist and counselor would have caught on, don't you think? They are more trained than you are and they're not making a profit off her prescriptions, only her psychiatrist. There are different subtypes of Schitzophrenia and chances are you haven't been around all of them. :)

  • @bookstorexcore How am I attempting to sound like a doctor? All I'm doing is trying to provide caring advice and suggest she get a second opinion. I'm not saying "you don't have schizophrenia." I'm saying from my (NOT LEISURE-based) experience, those symptoms are not typical (I am a Psych grad student, but no, not a doctor). Do u know the difference between psychologist & psychiatrist? Obviously no, b/c u said her psychologist would have caught on about the drugs. Psychologists are the ones...

  • @bookstorexcore ...who have nothing to do with psychiatrists, so they are required to stay out of the business of medication. And seeing as you can't even spell Schizophrenia, I doubt you are knowledgeable enough about this to be insulting my own grad school education.

  • @hollybee43 hahaha i never said i had any experience, you mongoloid. where the f do you see me talking about my expertise? i'm just saying your comment is pretty damn rude. im sure you have a psych degree. lol.pardon my spelling but i am not an american and sometimes shit happens and when i type your language, i have typos. tough huh? her psychologist and counselor would KNOW if she is medicated and could decide if the diagnosis and meds she is receiving were given to her erroneously. capiche?

  • @bookstorexcore "God Bless" and "Honey" is pretty damn rude? wtfever. Everything you're saying just screams ignorance toward the whole psychiatric system. And since I'm sure I can't change ignorance, good luck with that. Bye!

  • @hollybee43 thanks honey. good luck to you too with your projection issues and anxiety disorder. i hope you go on to curing the world with your brilliant advice, holistic advice and your fictitious psychology degree.. ha ha. god bless.

  • @bookstorexcore you sound like a stuck up bitter bitch. she never even said anything rude. get off the computer and stop tryingg to justify yourself. kthannx

  • @greatergood929 adam look who's talking you dumb cunt. your page says "love everyone" but you just completely butted in on a discussion that has nothing to do with you. oh man, harsh. i was i just called out by a highschool jesus freak from some dump in IL. you're a giant pussy and i could care less about yr opinion. go work on your youtube page and make it less nauseating instead of trying to educate someone who would likely shank you if you started shit like this in person. ;)

  • @bookstorexcore wow, u really are the biggest douche i've ever seen. are u 12 years old? you'll stab me, huh? better be careful with your wording, police reports have been filed for much less. and btw, this "dump" in IL bags a median family income of $143k per year :) barrington hills baby! now SHUT THE FUCK UP AND FUCK OFF - its obvious no one wants to listen to your shit. good god. (ps. since i'm sure you'll reply to protect ur ego, just know i won't be reading any more comments from u. tata!)

  • @bookstorexcore

Last time I checked, calling someone a "mongoloid" is pretty offensive. So shut the fuck up.

  • @hollybee43 i said her PSYCHIATRIST would be the one making the profit off the drugs but her psychologist is NOT making a profit off drugs in any way, so, the psychologist could diagnose her condition (which you decided was OCD) and suggest that she take a different course of action that is more therapy based. unfortunately schizophrenia (see, i spelled it all nice) is an actual biological disease and holistic placebos for anxious hypochondriacs will not just make ppl snap out of it. peace ;)

  • Can I please contact you... allot of hope

  • My girlfriends father (the biological one) has paranoid schizofrenia and is in a psychiatric clinic in Germany. She was four years old when he killed her mother in front of hers and her two sisters eyes. The girls including my girlfriend got adopted by aunt and uncle. My STUPID question (but I love her and care about our future) is if she will develop this disease like her father if there is a risk. They said that its 10% if one of the parents is schizofrenic. Is that something to worry about?

  • @giorgossaris That is a really sad story and a rough situation. I only know from my experiences and mental disorders of varying degrees run heavily in one side of my family. But just having schizo or another related disorder is not the end of the world. It just means you have to find new ways to do things and make it. Note that this video is a few years old, I have done many other updates and discussed working through things.

  • @rachelstarlive Thank you so much for your answer :)

  • I think that I have this disorder also. I am a very smart 24 year old female , I have graduated form college and I work everyday. however I am unable to maintain close friends and it is very difficult for me to move on when a friendship goes south. I have auditory hallucinations. They happen when I am in a hightened emotional state. Both happiness and sadness. I made a choice not to take medication. it has been difficult.

  • @GottaSunShineSmile Going on medication was a very hard step for me many years ago, and the meds never really worked. A few years back after making this video I had electro convulsive therapy and that changed a lot of things for me. Best of luck to you though.

  • You are so right! I live in NV and new govener wants to slash mental health care. He has no idea what that will do, our jails and courts will be filled. Those who do not end up in jail will become prayed up on!! It makes me sick to even think about it.

  • Woman*

  • Silly unbelievers, this man is possessed by evil spirits. The Bible is true, repent & believe the Gospel.

  • @Jesusistheonlyway905

Show me documented peer review studies that prove evil spirits and then you have a right to post something like that otherwise SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have a friend with schizophrenia, thank you for your honesty and courage!! I am looking for anything everywhere I can to learn about her diagnosis and to be able to help as much or as little as she wants me to. She like you is a creative and beautiful woman!

  • I've been up watching your videos and you are just amazing. I love how real you are. You're hilarious and like your mom said - creative and beautiful! You are definitely doing someone great for the world and people going through tough situations - you're amazing and I appreciate you for who you are. Love from California!

  • lovely video... i admire your strength.x

  • Rachel, you have my deepest sympathy, and if I were in the US I would come and see you. Your problem is not physical, and pills don't work, as you plainly state.

There is nothing wrong with you, the problem is spiritual, not physical. You are being worked over by demons, as they are called. Somehow you opened yourself up to them, drugs, fake religion, sex maybe, whatever. You need a genuine spiritual man of God who knows how to deal with this sweetheart.

  • I remember reading about a schizophrenic who thought she was the only person in the whole world.

  • Awesome parents... they're doing the right thing, exactly what they should do.

  • Just recently diagnosed with MDD with psychotic features, with possibility of having my diagnosis changed to schizoaffective so I can relate at least a little to what you're going through. Luckily, my symptoms are really mild right now and I'm seeing a psychiatrist and getting lots of therapy.

  • Im also schizo, never give up really you can fight back everything you lost ( friends, Family ) Everybody thinks your a freak in a way.

I quited using antipsychotica ( Risperdion ), i tought they were poisoning me.

I almost have the same things you have. Ghost people, Halo People, seeing aura's,

hear voices, falling through the ground. Im very happy i found somebody that really has

the same symptons as i do. Bless you darling -Hug-

  • So interesting to hear about what you see and hear because of schizophrenia..

  • Love the video. Well done Rachel!

  • i have schizophrenia, tourettes syndrome, intermittent explosive disorder, ocd, odd, and aspergers syndrome, ive tried nearly every tablet u could try.. risperadel, advanza, seroquel, lithium, lovan etc.. TRUST ME you are real lucky compared to me

  • Be strong. Good luck because you deserve it :)

  • I do not have schizophrenia, but i have some of the sympotms e.g i do struggle with friendship, i stare into trances alot n see images but i can never explain them, once a friend had to phisically slap me across my face to get me to come out of it, i sometimes talk to myself, i self halm(not as often as before tho), and i can be really chilled out and relaxed, but then i suddenly change and can get really irritated. it is almost like someone has flicked a switch to make me like this.

    help :S

  • @aabbii93here i dont know wht you have as im not a doctor but you sound like you have depression. try and talk to someone about how you feel and see a doctor and tell them but you shouldnt be feeling like you are. but dont go through it alone please

  • I have just watched your video and I was so moved by it, I actually felt that I was sitting at that kitchen table and listening to your Ma and Pa talk right to me, I can tell you that if I had been i would have wanted to reach across and give them a great big hug, one thing is very clear,, their love for you is priceless. I hope that one day perhaps there will be a breakthrough in the understanding and treatment of your illness, All my very best wishes and my prayers are for you. Tony L.

  • What is the music in the beginning?

  • @stianbirkholz I just made it in garageband (music program) with loops.

  • Thank you for making this for us, Rachel. We don't feel so alone.

  • I am so glad you made this video. i dont suffer from it but i now understand it some what.. x @rachestarlive

  • You and your video are quite remarkable. And I do think you are helping A LOT of people. All the best to you :)

  • I really dont think its fair that people that are as ill as you should be working. Its just not right atall. Life is hard enough when you're 'normal' but having a severe mental illness is horrible. Really hope you are well and that you find a way to pay for your medication.

  • @PaulsBeesInTrees

    I agree completely

  • @Kristym331 Its just not fair is it, it knocks me sick that they should pay for being ill. No one should pay for being ill or needing medication.

  • I here tgestify that Jesus is the only solution to salvation and a healthy mind and body. "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you" (Luke 10:19-20). "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I shall give you rest". "I am the way, the truh the life". "The Lord is my strength and my defense, he has become my salvation" (Psalms 118:14). He who belives without seeing shall be blessed. God bless you.

  • @royalsteven - can't you go preach somewhere else, like on an atheist video or something?

  • Not really because this is necessary anywhere and for all people.

  • hi rachel

  • Thank you rachel. :)

  • it would be easier and cheaper to stick them on an island, or a home, where they cant escape. They can talk to each other and when they start costing too much money, they can be euthanized. 3 grand a month x all these nutjobs, is a good chunk of change

  • Drug free and symtom free nearly 4 years now,

  • I am now 59 years old, Rachel. I was diagnosed with acute paranoid schizophrenia and severe halitosis. You can imagine what kind of problems that brought to bear. On the other hand, running and hiding from myself has kept me in pretty good shape.

Also, check into getting some extra personalities. This one you have could use some improvement. But keep the figure....it is kinda nice.

  • wow wtf is your problem. your weird.

  • Send this vid to your congressman and senator and G-15's in your state!

  • I am a schizophrenic i was diagnosed in my mid-twenties, i now take risperidone. I study pretty much every scrap on the subject that comes my way. I was evaluated in fith grade with a IQ test and scored above 130, recently i tested at a 140 IQ score. I am a marine corp veteran and member of the vfw. I liked your little film it was neat!

  • @churchpeter19 thank you!

  • @rachelstarlive Your very welcome, do you find personal relationships to be difficult? I was married but my wife divorced me just before i was diagnosed. And i have three children, im worried they will be suseptable to the illness given the statistics. Also i am now 30 and have been living with my diagnosis for about 5 years now. But im lucky in some respects, im very responsive to my medication. Furthermore my sister is a doctor and works at a state mental hospital; so more attention.

  • @churchpeter19 yeah, i'm not good with relationships

  • I am the legendary jonny logan cook. I am escrow certified. DRE Broker certified. I am ex emt. I can 440lbs. I have guarded comedic celebrities. built and designed a bar in 19 days un medicated. managed a coffee shop.learned kung fu. I have a 170 IQ. I have played bass for 6 years....read write music, perfect pitch. and managed a coffee shop @ 14...etc. rachel.good sleep, less stress, medication. google ellyen saks.

google me: jonny cook + emt. actually me. I'll be nasm cert & re do emt soon.

  • I am paranoid schizophrenic as well.

  • Hello i am a paraniod schizophrenic. I take risperadone. I see you have som admieres lol well have you watched the documentaries on john nash? Very interesting stuff the way genius goes hand in hand with schizophrenia. I myself tested a 130 IQ score in the fith grade, and recently a 140 IQ score. My sister is a doctor, and i was a marine corp infantryman after the twin tower stuff happend. I am now a member of the vfw. So any who it was nice to see your little rendition.

  • you are very beautiful in many ways. I have a bit of a crush on you now

  • you are very beautiful is many ways. i have a crush on you

  • I have found the crap doctors instill in you that you are mad and trapped makes the fear worse . Your brain then reacts to the trapped feeling and freaks out and releases stress hormones that make you see things.

  • Hi Rachel, I am schizophrenic too... I was just diagnosed last month and that is hard. I have delusions and hallucinations, and sometimes I can't even move. I feel like you do about how it effects all of your thoughts all the time, so maybe that's why we struggle with thoughts to self-injure. Thank you for making this video so I feel less lonely.

  • i am becoming schizophrenic, and i cant take meds, they make me miserable, i have to deal with this on my own. in my life the shit is hitting the fan. i cant fear, i cant fall... voices are getting worse, the hallucinations dont scare me.... i laugh at them.. i remember when i saw abunch of shadowy tentacles coming out of my closet, people with glowing red eyes, angels demons, voices that make no sense whatsoever, when you close your eyes and see fucked up things thats annoying....

  • I love your dad, he seems so sweet.

  • @barnabusdonn Ha no worries, trust me I think the fair majority of Schizophrenics would agree with you about the big pharma companies, I am just very glad though that in the UK the state pays for it all (well apart of a £15,00 fee), otherwise it would be horrendous, and my governement gets ripped off on the price. Is there a cure for schizophrenia already? who knows? I wonder if we could get a new active thriller started based on that question?

  • @Defrector haha you know you said "People who say things like that are probably the same fools who think they're good to drive after 9 beers." to her. well what does that make you? a sad fuck cause you are looking through videos of one of the most painfull and life changing disorders writing childish little comments that you think are funny. and atleast she has an excuse cause she is ill. go play football or something cause your looking through something a little too complicated for yourself.

  • @slashretard dude quit posting that shit on every video about schizophrenia on this site u dumbfuck

  • @barnabusdonn Well..... hmmmmm... I think that this was honest and to me very useful. I am in UK we have a public health care system, and they have made a wonderful improvement on my life.

  • Schizophrenia is just an extension and overlap of the dream state into waking state. That's all it is, it's just the brain overlapping the dream and waking realities too much.

  • @MrSmibby Completely agree!

  • I think I have a tendency towards mental illness of some kind, from smoking weed over the years. I don't know what it is but I often feel a bit crazy I think I'm probably mild bipolar or some shit. The world often doesn't too real lol. But your pretty hot man!! Stick with it man you might come out the other end John Nash did. I think mental illness is often a sign of intelligence that can develop from thinking and understanding too much.

  • @Defrector haha yes i was waiting for someone to say that!

  • Hi Rachel Please forgive me for asking are you really a schizophrenic as i have never heard the way you explain your symptoms of schizophrenia by anyone else,And you seem so active in so many of your other videos,The suicidal self harm could've be any more closer than you described,You seem to make perfect sense in your don't drift from one subject to another,Sorry just with the 7 years spent in institutions your different.Great awareness video.

  • @bernieowen2 Yes I am a schizophrenic. I do have episodes where people tell me I am not making any sense and things get all mixed up in my head.

  • @bernieowen2 Geez, you can just look at her and see she is torn in 1000 different directions. Damn, Rachel, people are so stupid.

  • Beautiful! God bless you!

  • Is this fake?Because I just looked at all her other videos and it seems like she is into acting...I feel dumb lol

  • your not alone at all.

  • and rachel, thankyou for this video, i'm in the same boat as you, but i have not been diagnosed. I know what's going wrong with me. Just keep your chin up! You sound like and amazing woman.

  • @slashretard your a fucking tool, and obviously don't understand anything about the illness. how can you honestly say that? like come on man, just because some of us people have hallucinations and shit like that doesn't mean we can't live a full life. educate yourself before you make such a serious remark like that, maybe you should be the one put to death you piece of shit.

  • I am very happy that she is doing much better!

  • Aw, that was very genuine!

  • Well, I think you're beautiful, Rachel and a great inspiration. Hang in there. We who are afflicted need you. More than that, you need you. So, hang in there, girl!!

  • I have the utmost respect for Rachel. She is very brave to have made this video. I'm an actor living in NYC, and I've lived with SZ since the age of 6. There has been a severe break from the symptoms since Feb '06. I'm not sure why it happened, nor am I sure how long it's going to last. Talk about walking on pins and needles. It's so hard on the loved ones, i.e. friends and family. Some have walked away due to all the sudden, emotional disasters. The description of a tilted room is so right on.

  • im schizo, it feels good to break free from reality

  • pretty and intelligent girl . thanks for that video
