World hunger could end if Hemp was legal to grow around the world. It can sustain life. Full of omega 3,6,9, amino acids, and more protein than soy or whey. It is also more digestible. They could also have clothing, shelter, fuel, and paper from the hemp plant as well.

There's a whole lot of associations that seek to solve these problems, but I don't see anyone who has actually brought a real solution to world hunger or world war.

I think the problem is within us, it's in our genetic code.. the evolutionary process creates strong species that are able to survive in hard conditions, while whoever falls back dies.

Personally I beleive there is another, less expensive, more inmediate answer to the dilema.

But this is something each person must do by choice, Meat Farms. If we used the grain, water, money & energy that are invested in this daily it would feed, clothe, & educate alot of people.

But comodities like eating meat, and having runnig A/C isn't something many of us aren't willing to sacrifice,myself included, even if it would save the world.

also i don't think you considered that the area won't be apt for living after the bombs. Plants, animals will be terribly affected. Even if people are not there when the bombs hit the residues will make the water unusable, pure poison.

It's great that you're trying to find a solution, but you are putting the solution in someone elses hands (the rich, and the government?) The solution is in your hands, you think 1 person can't make that much difference but you'd be amazed what one can do. Simple

I clicked on this video assuming you may have actually had a good idea... but all i saw was some rednecks idea about how to get water to drought areas. sadly it isnt even a good idea. Your idea is not reasonable, cost effective or effective in the least.

For the people in charge to make the world a better place is a LOT of opportunity's witch almost all of them only requires technology that already exist. But ones you all are met they are going to have time to think and put questions, stretching to the eternity. And well... lets just say the people of power don't like that, because of the reason that it might change the situation, that makes them (the people in charge) loose their status.

If you have a car, a shelter, food and money in the bank, you are in the top 5% of the wealthiest people in the world. I am one of these, although I am in debt, I still have the means to obtain resources to ensure my survival. Talk about being gratefull huh? Most all of the world is in dire poverty. I like your idea about the lakes. I would say utilize natural resources in those area's, like the sun for solar energy, sell it to surrounding area's and use it to fund your idea.
