No, windows has way better programs and its user interface is easier to use.. to me at least. Windows is better than linux and Mac. My opinion, stated as a fact

If you where using linux only and one day was introduced to windows you would feel the same. Window don't have a suitable package manager or upgrader. If anything go wrong a fresh instsll is the only thing that will help and so on.

Debian (rocks) well Ubuntu is based on Debian so quite a few things are the same. to new users I wouldn't recommend Debian but I would rather suggest Ubuntu.

Looks good, really good, I'm think of installing Debian instead of Ubuntu (Which is what I'm currently using), but the website is confusing, do you need 21 CD's to install it? There's 21 ISO files to download (CD1.iso, CD2.iso etc.)
