  • from the days when sometimesi prefer the intros to the game, that said, first samarai was great game but hard as fuck! project x was another game with alistairs music and also the intro was so good; but so was the in game music..

  • Allister Brimble is a music god

  • CLASSIC! one of my fave intros in gaming ever and easily one of the best of its time

  • awesome :) If I could just hear the disk drive clicking, it would be perfect :D

  • Allister Brimble right? i remember that he liked Kurzweil music systems :-) verrry good music he made..5/5!!

  • This game was solid

  • To me, this game became gradually worse the farther you would get. The very VERY best bit being the intro music. And now I found it here. You just made my day!

  • that tune brings back good memories :D

  • Brings me back.

  • i loved (and still do love it) this music on my amiga, sometimes i just let play the music without playing the game ;)

  • I remember that I thought that the amount of money paid for the music at the time was not nearly enough for such a great piece of music

  • I thought that it is illegal to claim ownership of someone else's music. I think that legal advice should be taken as this was written by Downtownloop - I would have to look up the invoice to be sure of the exact year but it was around 1985. Amiga Group can confirm this as it will be in their accounts. I know this was written by Downtown Loop under the handle of Studio Master as I was there when it was being composed.

  • @MotleyKeith

    rapist cunt

    stfu u fat faggot

  • Amiga music makes my spine tingle. This intro Especially! :D

  • I may be 12 but i just LOVE retro game stuff :) (I may invest about 25$ into an old computer. Maybe.)

  • Thank you for posting gdreyband

  • I, really, love this intro! Excellent!

  • This is farking awesome. Some of the greatest ever Amiga music and a superb intro to the game too. Loved this game, loved this music, Cecco is at his finest here.

    'Oh no, my sword!'

  • They just don't do game music as good as this any more.

  • One of the best intro's to one of the best games on the Amiga.

So good to see it again

  • timeless music.............ahhhhhhhhhhh the fond memories!!!!!!

  • That´s why I love the Amiga. All the Amiga games conversions have inferior introductions and musics...

  • The Music is Composed by Michael Davis and NOT Nick Jones

  • This takes me back...

I remember playing this on my cousin's Amiga when I was about four or summin.

  • Wonderful music. Can't expect from an old game!

  • great music! i love it

    amiga music forever :o)

  • Who wrote this music track?

  • Nick Jones

  • First Samurai Introduction Music was Composed by Michael Davis (Aka Michael/Anathema Demo group London/United Kingdom). You can see this tune and the remix of this tune on a website called AMP Amiga and type in his name and look for Samurai V2 which is this tune and the other remix is called First Samurai remix.

  • @MD212 It wasn;t written by him, it was written by me! I wrote music under the handle Studio Master for the Amiga group THR (The Hacking Relation)

  • EPIC!

  • This has to be some of the best game music EVER!!!!. I still have the original game box :D.

  • @sob2009 I know. It fuckin' rules.

  • @

    philbluntuk: you mean wolfchild?

  • I was 5 when i used to watch my older bro play this. Classic game! Used to always get stuck though = (

  • This music track is an absolute slammer and First Samurai was a quality game. I always remember getting stuck at a certain point but can't remember where. Who remembers a similar platformer when you played a kind of werewolf? NOT altered beast.

  • i think the game you're referring to is Wolfchild. great game with an superb soundtrack!

  • @philbluntuk Wolfchild

  • atmospheric music !

  • fookin love this music and brings back so many memorys. amigas were the best.

  • Loved this game....great music

  • Ahhh great game. Oh No! My Sword!

  • they guy on the right is really buff! :P

  • Excellent music. God, this must have been about 1993! How old do I feel now. Amiga forever :)

  • I remember this being about 13 years old at the time, nice memories :) The music creative as ever just like music was on the C64. Its just not done anymore.

  • Video is a tiny bit better and there's less weird pops in the audio.
