It's funny because we already live in a world of cyberpunk technology only people don't even realize it. I'm even amazed myself how I could be so blind and I feel ridiculous saying this but it's true we are locked in a kind of matrix and we don't even know it... Anyway fuck reality and as for NeuroTech happy-funtimes check out: Open E.E.G., Open rTMS, and Shakti Technologies. I could see Shadowrun as a show told with a Mr. Johnson at the helm of each arc. That way you could still mix up the characters and teams, but revisit others and not get bogged down in subplots.

Also I soo want a Shadowrun series now! ...Some studio should really get to making it, rather than doing their own shitty little series or trying to revive - and rape - things like Mortal Kombat.

I think the problem with them doing more with Shadowrun is more about Copyright issues than anything else...kind of the same problems they're having with Battletech.

The whole FASA/Wizkids/Catalyst fallout is still happening (even though it's been almost a decade since FASA fell apart and went bankrupt).

I've rarely seen someone write a 'world' show instead of just a 'character' one. Imagine if instead of focusing on just a few characters there was characters, yes, but episodes that could also feature stories about the SR universe. We could have a main cast which developed, but every episode or two we could look into how neo-elves were living, or even a tale set in cyberspace. The possibilities would be endless!

I´m a fan of the roleplay Shadowrun. Cyberpunk with classic fantasy mixed is a great idea. It´s a great fake trailer.
