BMW wouldn't be popular just because of any marketing stunt of better in sales compared to merc......i have personally driven a merc and hundreds of BMW on and off track...and BMW is far more better in Handling, Cornering, Sportiness..and yes again..in Sales...at the end of the day..its really about selling the product. Merc is a German technology too.....but look closer to the kind of materials used...and feel them..BMW goes far beyond looks...its touches your emotions.

When I was 4 years old my Grandpa give my mother a new Cadillac1958, by the time I start going to school (5) I was proud to ride in such a car. It was the best car in School, 2nd best a Mercedes 180.

Fifty three years pass and I would not have a Cadillac in my drive way, nothing to be proud of, even a some unknown Korean car can be better.

That doesn't change the fact that there BMW 7 series has looked ugly since 2001. Most of their sales is via the 1&3 series. S-Class still dominates in the luxuary saloon range.

This was BMW's 2007 CS concept, later renamed to Gran Turismo. But unfortunately didn't see the day, since it was canceled in late 2008. After this, BMW came up with 5er GT which is in sale almost a year now.

We won't see this car on streets, although it had some good things to show to other car makers... sadly...
