  • This is not Trower 'imitating Clapton' it is yet another version of the piece, it's a living thing, not set in stone forever. The original remains as a testament-but this is great, wonderful to see the old boys still playing fresh and strong.

  • I love Clapton named my son after him ...but he cant play like this or he doesnt play with this aggressive an attack ..trower is playing no taking posession of this bruce classic ...

  • Bullshit. I don't want to hear Trower playing Clapton. It's one thing for RT to emulate, as he did with Jimi Hendrix, but it's altogether another thing to imitate. That's a step down. Unfortunately, Jack Bruce hasn't written a decent song in 40 years otherwise he might benefit from the talent of a great gutiarist like Trower. But he doesn't need Robin as a sideman to rehash his past. This is so disappointing.

  • as you might have recognized - or not -

trower is not imitating. imho he gives the song some of its freshness back. white room is a jb classic so it's very ok for me seeing this great performace.

  • Thank you for posting this, maybe trower and bruce in the usa wouldnt be such a bad thing,,,,i dig this

  • Would have loved to hear the entire version of White Room with Trower/Bruce

  • Try "bruce trower nijmegen" !
