I just love Japan. It's not like I just like manga or anime and blah blah but it's like i love everything about it. Culture, traditions, food.. EVERYTHING.. it's my dream to live in Japan. I know it's possibly won't come true but still it's like this dream helps me to improve.. I'm learning japanese found some friends in Japan and i swore to myself that one day i'll be fluent in japanese!
What you need is to be open minded. People who aren't don't deserve to travel and see other countries. Can't wait to go back to Japan. Might buy a plane ticket this month!
Reasons I want to go to Japan: The culture The music The food The anime/manga The fashion The cars The architecture The scenery The people The atmosphere I ♥ JAPAN!

sometimes it depends bro,i came here partly for my gf, i was probably planning on coming anyway, but still a large reason of where i am is cause of my gf. i had met her in my home country first though

Thanks for sharing your reasons for going to Japan. I'm glad you were able to remeber your dream. The more I learn about Japan, the more I want to visit and see for myself if I would like to live there long term and start a family. In 2012, I hope to visit for 1 month. じゃまた！ :-)

@sec1productions Well I don't graduate till 2014, which sucks, but it gives me plenty of time to prepare. I'd hate to be one of those guys that you said get there and just run back home after a while. Even if I get to Japan and hate it there (which could happen - I've never been there before - but I doubt it), I'd at least like to be prepared enough to stick it out till the end of any working contract I might have. If all goes smoothly though, I'll buy you a pint when I get there =)

The point about researching about Japan properly before going there is pretty important. I think a lot of people get the idea that the country is some kind of fairytale land and then go there and get hit with reality :/
@DrkVrtx You hit right on the mark with that one. It hits a lot of people that Japan isn't all anime happy fun time. and sometimes they wont have a translator always with them. Most fight it out cause they know exactly what they got themselves into. some crumble and leave. :-(
omg i love Versus!! So Epic. Battle Royal is also Great. I love Japanese movies. America needs to sponsor Japanese movies and stories. I believe they would be a hit here in america. Japanese movies/stories are some complex, they make you think which is why i enjoy watching them. Same goes for the anime.
@BuukaaBaby I agree!!! lol. Theres so much potential in japanese cinema. just all the money goes into drama production. which is ok but I really want to see more movies coming out.
