@dedawen Waqee bin Al Jarah(ra) is the one about whom all the Shayokh of fiqh state that he was they haven't seen anyone so learned in Hadith as him. Imam Bukhari(ra) states that there is none among scholars who had so many hadith in his heart as that of Al Jarah(ra). He is the teacher of the greatest Shayokh, and a greatest Sufi of his time. His book "Kitab Az'zuhd wr'Raqaaik" is one of its kind on Baatin, and core of Tassawaf(sufism)! :)

Mainstream Islam, however, is becoming more widely accepted and more Chechens see these zikr as cultural performances, not religious once. As a religious act, this zikr is bidah, It is an innovation. May Allah (SWT) guide the Chechens down the straight path. And Allah Knows Best.

True that this is not from Islam and not even from Sheikh Abdul Qader Gailani, it is made up by other scholars and was inserted. However, as long as it does not harm other people, such as fatwas of kill and genocide people for religions and sects, it shouldn't be a problem for these fellows to do Zikr how ever they want to do. People have freedom to practice their belief the way they want as long as it does not harm others.

есть несколько видов зикра у каждого братства свой, я не спорю что у некоторых зикры можно назвать бид'а, например у тех кто в барабаны бьет, орет, зурну приплетает короче делают целый песенный оркестр, потому что это запрещенные инструменты и создают звуковые волны, которые воздействуют на мозг человека крайне негативно. То же самое что и слушая клубную музыку, впадаешь в транс и не контролируешь мысли, движения, посему в клубах много разврата бывает.

If something was not done (like driving cars etc), it does not make it haraam, the duty is on those who say its haraam to bring the proof it is as such, such as Shariah or Hadith. If there is non unity amongst scholars in their judgement, you cant say anything to anyone
SubhanAllah if only we had as much heart and faith as them instead of quibbling. It was the details and hair splitting like this that destroy ummahs before us.

driving a car is not shirk, but if you understand that ANY newely innovated thing that comes into deen al islam is bidah, we do new things every day, but if it is introduced into our deen then yes it becomes a form of shirk.
the sahaba or rasoolAllah never done this zikr, in fact it to me is more like a twisted freakish way to remember our lord.
stick to the sunnah and quran you can not go wrong, why invent new things and risk the danger? this is wrong full stop

@hudfadz , SubhannaAllah, the fact that companions RA or Prophet SAS did not do something is not grounds to call it Bidah or Haraam. There are Bidah Hasanat too, like the compilation of Quran for example.
People remembering Allah SWT is always a great thing.
There is no denying their spirit and love of Prophet SAS and Allah SWT is being done here, in the end Allahoalim.
Its safer brother to not judge them and let Allah decide. Make 70 excuses for your brothers and pray for guidance.

barsamrat..what do you know of the salaf? Ibn hajar Al-Asqalani was asked about doing raqs in dhikr as the sufis do and he allowed it..and so did Imam Al-Suyuti. Imam Al-Nawawi also permitted it. Who are you compared to these giants of religion?

True that this is not from Islam and not even from Sheikh Abdul Qader Gailani, it is made up by other scholars and was inserted. However, as long as it does not harm other people, such as fatwas of kill and genocide people for religions and sects, it shouldn't be a problem for these fellows to do Zikr how ever they want to do. People have freedom to practice their belief the way they want as long as it does not harm others.
