  • lol at 0.41 she looks like an evil scientist

  • LOL U SO FUNNY

  • I wonder why in the middle of the video the lights were shut off..

  • What cream eyeshadow do you use on the lid?

  • the model looks like evangeline lilly

and she doesn't need any makeup lol

  • i love it...easy, simple and beautiful

  • Does anyone know what she uses at 2:24? She didn't mention the name :(

  • ooh that's great Fatima

BTW, do u know ur name is like our prophet's daughter name?

    r u a Muslim?

    thaaanx so much

    it looks beautiful ^_^

  • Hey fatima, any tips/rpoducts recommendation for makeup that last...(ie no easy smudging of eyeliner & etc throughout the day?)

  • i luv dat models teeth

  • Hi Fatima here...Thanks for watching my videos. I am creating some new videos for next year and would love to know what you would like to see.....

  • is she saying no makeup is not beautiful

i used to wear makeup to school but more natural is better and its best not to wear too much when you're young because you can end up wreking your skin... BIG time

  • that model is gorgeous!

  • yeah right in just a few secs, if you have perfect skin like the model!!

why don't they ever use a model with really bad skin ha?

  • i agree or ones with acne showing then i would believe

  • hi! i need know what color she us for the cream blush a BB rouge pot, PLEAAAASEEEEE!!!!....I NEED IT thanks a lot

by the way i just love fatima olive, she´s great ! and so beautifull

  • i want to by a good an quality mascara could you recommend something for me,mention that i am from europe and we don't have mac and benefit brands:(

  • If you don't have those brands, I would try Covergirl's Lash Blast in waterproof. Usually, drugstore brands don't have good mascara, but this stuff is amazing. No clumps WHATSOEVER, and the waterproof is so good you really need a good eye - makeup remover to get it off. Hope this helps :]

  • ahem, covergirl isn't sold in europe

  • you could use:

    Maybelline Blackest Black mascara,

it's a great product and worth the price (about 4.99 GBP) it definately brings out your lashes AND it's sold in a drugstore or basically anywhere

  • this mascara is for quite a while in shops and yes the price is accesibile, i should try this thanks for the tip :) i'll tell you how good it is for my lashes :d

  • thanks so much! this was helpful :)

  • could the products be listed on the side please? i didn't quite catch what she was saying for a couple of them.

  • look at the tags ^^'

  • lol, thanks!

  • After Fatima applies the mascara, the models kind of crying!

  • what s the name of the pencil highlighter under the brows?

  • the differences are "this?" great grammar

  • that wasn't "just a few steps" but she looks beautiful anyways :]

  • She doesn't need make up she has natural beauty

  • simple? lmao.

  • Cool vid :)

But the mascara was ugly, it looked liked spider-lashes..

  • Can anyone give me some idea about which brand should I go for a great cream shadow? Powder shadow is much easier to find in the pharmacy but it doesn't last long on my face, so I really want to try cream shadow and see how it works out!

  • befor you go try sometihng different you should try maybe like a primer on your lid befor you apply your eyeshadow.. if you havent already tried that..(urban decay) has a really awsome primer for eyeshadow.. they are kinda known for there eyeshadow so0 i would try that befor you try cream

  • Well, the truth is, I'm an Asian girl and I don't have folds on my eyelids, so my solution is using surgical tape to create the folds, but that leads me to another problem- I can't apply powder shadow on the tape, I need something that's oil-based, such as eyeliner and waterproof cream shadow.

  • yeahh im asian too..

i use waterproof eyeliner and since my eye doesnt have the fold i make the line thicker.

and then for eyeshadow, i just do more of it.

halfway up to the eyebrows :]

  • I did try primer before I start to use surgical tape on my eyes, but it didn't work for me because I didn't have the fold on my eyes, so everything will start to blend and melt- shadows, eyeliners, mascara...everything. In two hours, everything will be destroyed :(

  • dont tape em! i see alot of asian girls putting eye shadow on dere monolids...and i feel like dere application comes out more smoother..i dono mayb its jus me :P u could use white eyeliner 2 jus open ur eyes up more <3 and u shuld use urban decays primer potion its amazzzing

  • Is Fatima Middle eastern at all?

  • My mom used her lipstick all over too! On her lips, cheeks, and even on her eyelids. And it looked good! I agree. You'll do just fine on a deserted island with only creme blush.

  • lol my does the lipstick on cheeks thing.

    Grt video.thks

  • ugh i meant my mom

  • I don't know if it's so much greasy as it is... over moisturized? they probably rubbed some on her and didn't let it sit

  • Also, I don't need the blush. I have natural blush on my face, hehehehe.

    =)

  • Ok, I think I would take the advice on the eyeshadow. I don't need to add the foundation. I have enough natural sheen on my face.

  • haha fake smile at 4:23

  • Indeed haha, your comment made up for the 5min minutes I wasted watching this. :D

  • i LOVE this...its sooo good

  • duii young and fresh..and ultra greasy?

  • great vid. just wondering, what highlighter did you use?

  • Cream blush, cream eyeshadow... Her face is greasy enough. Why would you wanna add more sheen? Yikes.

  • sheen is sexy.

  • yes but it has its limits. greasy is just disgusting.

  • Is this cream blush a BB rouge pot?

  • if i was stuck on a desert island, i'd probabley want to have da jonas brothers w/ me. dats it. lol.

  • Would they be for food?

  • Haha... naughty!

  • how could you? i would never eat the jonas brothers

  • ahhhhh so would i

  • can't you just use hair gel on your brows?

  • But in one thing she is definitely right. The Diorshow is the best marcara ever!

  • I use that bobbi brown in pink truffle and it's amazing.

  • wow this girl is definitely not the prettiest for model ive ever seen...

  • None of the models are really perfect-pretty... they'd be boring.

  • Hehehe...If I was stranded on an island, I'd want a water purifier that makes potable water out of sea water, a year's supply of ration bars, and a bag of different kinds of seeds in case I'm there longer than a year. I think mascara's a little low on the list...

  • It that island was Manhattan you might reconsider the mascara.

  • LOL! If I was in Manhattan, I'd go for the black eyeliner instead... the better to fit in with my fellow goths! And... I'd still want potable drinking water. Haha!

  • Fair enough. I think you would survive.

  • a few years back we would apply makeup to have a matte look..the no shine powdered down look. but now they go for a more natural youthful look which is referred to as a dooy complection. they don't over powder anymore..it's out dated.

  • what eyeshadow did she use?

  • It would be really neat to see a before/after shot at the end of the makeup application videos :)

  • any brand suggestions for dark under-eye concealer?

  • i got bobbi browns corrector...it works really well to get rid of the blue tones under the eye...try it out!

  • will do, thanks!

  • try benefits fake-it kit. its great if you have yellow undertones too..

  • whats the pencil she used as a highlight?

  • Aveda

  • I think the whole video is great except the brow, it makes people look cromagnum

  • i have the diorshow mascara and i dont like it. after an hour there is you see it under your eye

  • so true, it isn't too spectacular

  • I love Fatima's videos ! Please make more :) Her advices are always so helpfull :)

  • i think its sonia kashuk

  • That's what I have.

  • where can i buy brushes that arent that expensive (mac) ?

  • Costco has a fabulous brush set that i've been using for a long time... remember to wash brushes 1-2 times a month

  • thx but i don't live in the us, i live in france :/

do you recommand another special brand?

  • I just got my first brush set this x-mas, and sure enough it was from Costco.

Its a great kit for first time brush owners.

Plus is comes with a nice translucent powder.

  • Sorry sonia kashuk

    from Target.

  • I've never worn make-up before. I've thought about trying it, but my boyfriend says not to 'cause he wouldn't like it, so I don't know... (I'm 18, btw) (Also, he's not, like, controling or anything, he's very sweet.)

  • Well, (don't want to butt in, I'm sure Fatima will give you a great answer too, but, I couldn't resist) maybe your boyfriend is afraid it will be too heavy. But natural make-up can be very subtle, almost unnoticable, yet it can really make you look great. You can always try and start with one little thing to see if you (and your boyfriend) like it.

  • for beginners the best place to start is only a lil masscre and then about a month later add a simple eyeliner on the weekends out. Stay with these two basics for about 6 months. From here i would try a smokey eye (dark color on lid and lower eye add silver in corner). this will help your boyfriend adjust and more importantly prevent you from painting on a new face... and no No NO foundation for a year!!!

  • a great tutorial on youtube is pursebuzz. she is a great sourse of advanced application.

  • great video! Thanks!

  • yay!! i love Fatima Olive videos!

  • I've been waiting for a Fatima Olive video! Thank You!!
