So oppose it all you want. The bills never became law. So your opposition is to what? Are you apposing the bills that never became laws? Or are you opposing them never becoming laws. Both are stupid of course and a complete waist of time. Aren't there enough real bad laws to keep us busy until we all grow old and whithered? All the drama. Over something that never was.

This bill never became law. This bill was proposed in a previous session of Congress. Sessions of Congress last two years, and at the end of each session all proposed bills and resolutions that haven't passed are cleared from the books. Members often reintroduce bills that did not come up for debate under a new number in the next session. Because this bill was introduced in a previous session of Congress, no more action can occur on it. It's a dead issue.

Go to wikipedia and see which of your state representatives voted. All but 6 and some didn't show.I just found out about this tonight.The presidents speech after 9/11:To protect the freedoms of the American people from terrorists.
