  • when you use the diffuser did you have to separate the plaits??? i want to do this tomorrrow..

  • can u do this on dry hair??

  • Will this work on naturally kinda straight hair? Well the top is straight but the bottom is kinda curly? Yea, it's weird, I know..

  • @L0vee378 read the down bar

  • @xXxmissysunshinexXx I did, but I'm just afraid that it won't turn out the right way, because my roots are really flat and I really want to get this look, it looks gorgeous.

  • love this length, nice look! =)

  • I am gonna do this look for my birthday next weeek. HOPEFULLY it comes out right

  • Your eyes remind me so much of Mila Kunis.

  • Super video!! gros bisoux

  • this is my fav tut. thanks.

  • That's the best looking braid out I've ever seen. I never thought about using the diffuser to dry the damp braids and create more volume. Great tip!

  • this was SUPER helpfull - I've seen this look but had NO CLUE how to do it... SO, what do you do to keep it night? How long does it last?

  • My fave tutorial yet, do you have to retwist it at night?

  • That is so cute..

  • Really cute. I'm glad you mentioned the products you used weren't greasy. Most products marketed for black folks hair is so greasy. I'm a huge fan of Paul Mitchell & Aveda but I will give Miss Jessie's a try. I think I saw it at Target.

  • You are very pretty

  • did you follica.com

  • @Monique6411 It's folica.com and they have the best products.

  • Your great...i love yours video.. :)

  • your the first person i seen use the diffuser on a braid out!! im definitely tryin that

  • WHAT COLOR LIPSTICK? FROM WHO?

  • You're soo beautiful !

  • does this work for long hair too? i love this look but im unsure the curlers will hold my long hair

  • oh my gosh you are gorgeous :) xo

  • красиво!

  • How did you get sponsored?

  • Hey Brittney! I was wondering do you use Miss Jessie's every time you do your curly braid out? Like is it essential to only use that product or are there other basic products that work fine for this style?

  • Wanted to add, if you pause at 5:14 you look pretty scary, haha.

  • Absolutely love this tutorial, gonna try it out tonight! I'm a mother of 2 young children, 2 1/2yr old and 8 month old, so it's really hard to find time to doll myself up, hope this really works for my hair! I have thin, frizzy, shoulder length hair that never wants to do anything for me! So I'm gonna try some gel using this method with the rollers since I already have those. Thanks!

  • What blow dryer is that?? And where can you get those comb attachments? Please & thanks.

  • Very pretty!

  • yu areee so gorgeoussss

  • And would you recommend the Folica products for someone who has a combination type hair?

Parts of my hair are curly, and some parts are straight/wavy.

  • ooooohhhhhh!

I never knew that was what the big tip attachment on the blow dryer was for! lol

  • Your hair came out really cute. My hair is about the same length and I love curly looks. I am really looking forward to trying this style. How long does this style last? Do you braid and roll every night? Thank you for making this video :)

  • @OarilebeauO THANK YOU!!!

  • too cute

  • @OarilebeauO I don't believe I said that. Even so, it's my understanding that "African" (why is it in quotes as though "Africans" don't actually exist or something.) African women have only been able to grow their hair out so long, like just past the shoulders is amazing for them. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I haven't met any.

  • You remind me of Alicia keys :)

  • real eyes ? :)

    Love your vid'

  • WOOOOOOOW I LOVE IT

  • whats the name of the brand of curlers you used?

  • omfg... i love this video <3

  • Lip Stick??? Brand and name please??? lol

  • "now that I look like coolio" lmao

  • Loved this video, made me excited to want to try this with my hair. I dont have the money to purchase the miss jessies products which i heard lovely things about so im going to just use my shea butter products, hope it comes out right. Thank u once again, this had been a BIG help! :)

  • I think your other braid out where you blow dried your hair first is better for my type of hair! :D I'm glad that you have a variety if tutorials :)

  • What is the name of the blow dryer?

    Please and thank you

  • Cute!!!! I like that style.

  • you are so prettyy .

  • Nice. Do ypu rebraid ur haor at night to keep this look?

  • great video...

  • what do you do when you go to sleep with this style or do you have to redo the whole process to have the same style the next day

  • was the product u used called ms jesse's and if so, do they a site where i can order the sample?

  • I subscribing my daughter has to see this video she has hair like yours and puts way too much heat on her hair and then wonders why her hair breaks off

  • My hair used to be curly and because im always straightening my hair is all dry and burned and i would really like to make my hair curly again so i was wondering if this could actually work with my hair even without the products?? Would be great if you could tell me :)

  • Big, Curly, and Cute...Ahh all the things I like in a hair style...Thnx for posting ; )

  • WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PINK SHIRT FROM ??? = ]

  • Hi Brittney, is your hair naturally curly? Or do you relax it to make it manageable? Please answer back, I have naturally curly hair but it clumps up in the back which makes it look poofy and dry. Just wondering if there's any products you'd recommend for that? Thanks, love your videos so far!

  • u r goregous...and i love yo hair!

  • Tried it but since I have naturally straight hair I used flexi rods and I got the same results. LOVED it!!! I'll definitely be doing this again

  • WOW, so beautiful! Cant wait to try this!

  • Can i do this without all them products u had~?

  • That is BEAUTIFUL but my hair is different then urs I WANT THIS !

  • Hey girl! I did this on my hair and it looked great! The only problem is that i got more of a bend and not a spiral. I do not have foam rollers. Can I finger curl it?

  • Hi there, i have similar hair to yours and am going to have a go at trying your method though I don't have your products but will have a go at braiding it out and see if it works to a certain level. I live in the uk and will need to check if they sell them products here. Will keep in touch by the way you really look great with the hairdo. cheers

  • your hair is sooooo beautiful <3 i hope my braidout will look as good as this!

  • @irockz6 ~thank you so much :)

  • ok thank you so much :)

  • ohh noo , never again . it did NOT turn out right :(

  • im gonna try this tonighttt , i hope it works . im gonna use sponge rollers for my ends . i love how you braided it and it still turned out CURLY and not wavy . im currently trans from relaxed to natural , so will be good to hide my 4 inches of newgrowth , whoo !

  • Yes , as in relaxed hair. ~ So did you do exactly what BrittneyNGray did or did you use perm or sponge rollers ??? ~sorry a bunch of ?S this hairstyle is sooo cute !

  • I love how African hair looks when it's curly. It just doesn't look as good straightened out. Screw the stereotype that long straight hair is beautiful, I love short curly hair. I wish my hair could do that.

  • @GoNoAMMo

long straight hair is beautiful AND so is short curly african hair. i think all types of hair can be beautiful and ugly. i mean i see sum white gurls wit long straight hair thats ugly bc its thin and fallin out for watever reason. but yes i do think african american natural hair is prettier. it just looks more appealing to me

  • @GoNoAMMo HAIRLISTA WEBSITE. PLENTY OF BLACK WOMEN WITH LONG HAIR SO IT'S NOT SOME FOREIGN CONCEPT. AND IF YOURE TALKIN ABOUT BLACK WOMEN, NOT ALL ARE AFRICAN....... SMH -_-

  • @blastoffpartytime I'm not sure why you're yelling at me. For most african woman with long hair, they use extensions. Show me one who has natural long hair, and I'll take it back, but out of the people I know and talk to, it doesn't really happen often. Perhaps it's because of all the crazy things they do to their hair? I don't know. I do know not all black women are African, however in America African-American is the politically correct term despite the difference.

  • @GoNoAMMo I JUST TOLD YOU TO GO TO HAIRLISTA. THAT IS WHERE THERE ARE PLENTY OF BLACK WOMEN WITH LONG NATURAL HAIR. AND NO ONE IS YELLING AT YOU, I TYPE IN ALL CAPS. DEAL WITH IT. AND BLACK WOMEN ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES THAT DO SUCH CRAZY THINGS TO THEIR HAIR. A LOT OF WHITE GIRLS DYE THEIR HAIR LIKE CRAZY, GET IT PERMED, ETC. JUST BECAUSE THE BLACK LADIES YOU TALK TO DON'T HAVE LONG HAIR DOESNT MEAN ALL BLACK WOMEN AREN'T WOMEN ARE CAPABLE. THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENT PEOPLE OUT THERE.

  • MAYBE YOU SHOULD EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS A BIT :)

  • @blastoffpartytime Dude. I live in New Orleans...There are LOTS of black women here, and I see the same things over and over again. There are also white women who do too much to their hair, and can't grow it out past a certain point, but dying it isn't necessarily what damages your hair, the tugging on it to put it in tight cornrows or braids might though. Or perhaps it's simply part of their DNA, which if they're not completely black, but have something mixed in there, that might make up for it

  • @GoNoAMMo DYING CAN DAMAGE THE HAIR IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY CARE FOR IT AFTERWARDS OR IF YOU DYE IT TOO MUCH. TIGHT CORNROWS CAN BE DAMAGING, AS WELL TOO LIKE YOU SAID, BUT NOT IF YOU KNOE HOW TO PROPERLY CARE FOR THEM SUCH AS NOT BRAIDING TOO TIGHTLY, TAKING THEM OUT AFTER A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME, ETC. BUT WHATEVER. YOU'VE MADE YOUR POINT BY NOW, AS DID I. PEACE :)

  • will it work for natural straight hair?

  • @aiveegirl naturally straight hair as in permed/relaxed??

  • R u half black?? If so, u are now my favorite person! There's never been any gurus here on youtube that totally get me!! (Especially my hair!!) Hahaha.. well thanks for the wonderful vid :)

  • @JCuitie06 do you know if this ull work on straight hair ????? I want this looks its so cute :)))

  • @flicammi Straight as in like relaxed hair?? I have permed hair and it worked out fine. But I really dont think it matters what kind of hair you have. Good Luck!

  • @JCuitie06 So did you do exactly what brittneyngray did? or did you use sponge or perm rollers ??

  • @flicammi I used sponge rollers. The only thing i didnt do was use the defusser, thats because I dont have one! lol

  • @JCuitie06 lol ok ~thnxx for the responses because i had no idea if this would even work on my grade of hair :))

  • Just found your channel and it great to find someone with my hair type :D quick question do i have to use the deffuser on my braidout ?
