I wonder if people read the description where it says "IT HAS BEEN FIXED!!!", yes indeed it was good times when you could remove fleshpound heads with knife but ever since they added a shitload of weopens (mac10, aa12!, grenade launchers, etc) lvl 6 (before max was 5) and new class whose specialty is explosives (pipe bombs -3), they decided to remove the decapitation of fleshpound to provide a more "cooperative" gameplay experience...

@ArbiterHems It was not a glitch. The Fleshpound's head only actually had a few points of health compared to the rest of it's body. Basically, one shot from any weapon would equal a decapitation. Personally, that make Fleshpounds useless imo and pointless to even have them in the game in the first place...

@DarkKnightMorgan no it dosen't fleshpounds have 1500 health an there head has 700 health (normal, one player). just for fun on hell on earth difficulty it has 5906 health and its head can take 3063 points of damage (6 players), and the hitbox for there head can sometimes be hard to hit.

It's really quite fun with a lot of people on Suicidal and everyone's only on an average of level 2 or 3 in respective fields all around. 1 level 2-3 Medic, 1 level 3-4 Sharpshooter, 1 level 0-1 Firebug, 1 level 2 Demolitionist, 1 level 3-4 Commando. That's the usual setup for my friends and I :). So much fun, and scary as shit.

@hof1987 It's a little different from a regular shooter though. I do admit, when I first started, I thought the weapon selection was amazing. Now looking on it, I'm kinda disappointed at it. Like, only one weapon for the Firebug, only 2 weapons and a support weapon for the Demolitionist, 4-5 weapons for the Sharpshooter, and generic stuff. I DO like the gameplay though :). If you like horror shooters, than this is a good casual game. L4D WAS kind of disappointing after the 200th hour ;).

@hof1987 But yeah, it's only, like, $10-20. Worth it if you ask me :). And the Steam achievements make me laugh :D. L4D introduced the same concepts and ways to defeat the infected, where the only reason you die is if you make a mistake or just wanna screw around with your team :P. L4D2 got a little harder, though the same concept was used. Very few weapons, maximum number of zombies, and the AI was easy to cheat if you knew what you were doing.

@H1gherStateGaming You should play it now, now the flesh poun is like a clot if you have a pipe bomb or a grenade launcher with you, the game got modifid to attract newbies, it fucked itself with the updates, now a 2 years old baby can kill the patriarch on suicidal... How? Demolitions perk - buying all the pipe bombs you can handle - plant them - when the patriartch is runing to you make sure he walks on the pipe boms and YOU WIN!... Is sad to see a great game getting fucked up.

@performancepoo Not really. Lever action is the closest to the crossbow than the M14. At a high enough level, the lever action takes out fleshpounds on Suicidal with 3 shots to the head, while M14 takes 6-8 shots to the head. The M14 may shoot faster, but ammo is way more expensive, and all together harder to aim. Lever action is probably one of the best weapons in the game, at least for the Sharpshooter perk.

@VampireBaru it all depends on the amount of players, if you are doing solo suicidal, then its 3 shots for LAR, and maybe 4 shots for m14

m14 has laser sight, faster fire rate, massive mag size, endless ammo supply, and ammo isnt expensive at all, theres no doubt that its the better/more overpowered gun

But yea, i use lever action too, cos its more honourable than m14/crossbow lol

@performancepoo Also depends on your level, I was going off of an average Level 4 Sharpshooter, rather than a level 6, since level 4 anything is what most people are at for the longest time. I made Level 6 really fast, but level 5 was a pain in the ass to get to. The weapon that's overpowered to me is dual handcannons. Level 5 or 6 sharpshooter just needs those, and can take out pretty much everything, hands down. For me, it's 100 pounds (LAR) to 400 (M14) for only a quarter of the clip left.

@ratede91 actually, each map gives a pretty decent background of the area, as well as why you are going in there in the first place. also, in KF, the trader is for tactical choices, instead of just cycling through a few guns that are almost the same in every way you have a choice of what you want to equip and for how long. in addition, try to actually PLAY a full game of l4d or l4d2 and have fun. no matter how many "game modes" the game has, when it has shit gameplay it sucks.

Yes, everything you say about killing floor is true, but everything you said had nothing to do with the story (or lack there of) every one of these game are infinitely replayable, and the reason killing floor is, is because it HAS NO STORY. all you do is kill till you win, or till you die, and at the end of the day, its not a bad thing... But KF has no story, sorry.
