We just visited there yesterday and the stingrays were amazing! One of the larger ones kept coming up out of the water at the side literally looking to be pet like he was a puppy craving the attention. So unexpected and a most incredible thing to see. Easily the highlight of our day and well worth the extra $2.50 to interact with these interesting creatures.
The stinrays were absolutely the highlight of our family zoo visit last summer, if not the highlight of the entire summer! Such sweet, personable, friendly creatures. The sharks sat there like slugs, LOL, but the stingrays were gregarious and obviously enjoyed being petted. I hope to do this again someday. Stingrays are one of my favourite animals now. Highly recommended exhibit.
I was there that year and the one after. Hopefully they will bring it back again or I'll have to drive to the states to see them. These are probably tired after a long day in this video because when I went they seemed like the happiest little things I've ever had the pleasure of being around.

when i peted the stingray it felt really sort my dad says its the sofest thing he ever flet and i loved the zoommolbeole but the jokes were crappy lol omg

i went yesterday, but we walked around too much seeing the other animals ... and the exibit was closed by the time we got to it...sadness lol :-(
