@Swartenager I agree. Meatloaf's version was better. But when Meatloaf went into his self imposed exile in 1980, Jim had an entire album ready for Meatloaf to record, and the record company breathing down his neck. He had to get something out or default on the contract. I'll say this. Jim can't sing for crap, but he's a master at composing amazing music. Meatloaf was born to sing Steinman's songs. Enuf Said.
