Charizard has it made agaisnt MK. Swuirtle is too much of a comboer(MK cant be comboed, Ivy doesnt have enough solid blows and is laggy. Charz is all out brawler.

Someone needs to teach that Charizard a mover other than Rock Smash.

he didn't change you can pick who you start as if you press on the pokemon it glows an outline on which you start with..
