@MrMeat42 It really depends on how much you practice and it helps to have a good teacher. I's say you can do it easily in about a year now that you have been playing a while. Join me this Saturday for my weekly vid chat and we will work on this very thing. It's on guitar Master class daught net at five pm eastern.
@Jakersssssss I'd say take a look at what your guitar idols use and try to get something similar. It's a good place to start. Finding your tone is a life long journey but one well worth taking.
@ThePaulgregg Thanks :) I"m always up for working on a new project, do you have a musical need for a lead player? I'd be happy to work with you on some tracks :) Just let me know!
can you do a lesson on decending licks? that's one of my weaknesses, i have trouble with knowing where to land. not necessary memorizing the scales or something but just ideas on legato ect and i dunno if u have a vid on that. thanks in advance
How long in the guitar career does it take to sync up the hands like that? Cuz I'm already 3 years in, and I'm nowhere near that

@Jakersssssss The short answer is to get gear that is similar to the bands/songs, that you want to sound like. So check out what your idols use!

What string thickness do you recommed to fast and precise picking?

@sonsofthedessert Good question. I personally use Super Slinky 9s. But everyone is different. Some folks use 12s. Go figure?

Awsome Todd! Thank you for doing these lessons. Poor folk like me, that can't afford lessons, appreciate it greatly!
